1 /5 Kayla Car: First few times i went and donated the people working went through my things, took quite a bit, and i felt i was paid pretty well for it.
Last few times, I get maybe $10 if i’m lucky for usually two giant bags of clean, trendy, well kept clothing.
This time today, I took in a big bag of neatly folded clothing, came back 5 mintues later got a text it was ready, got $10 for a couple items. I went to look at the bottom of the bag and over 70% of my items were still folded the exact same way i folded them at home.
It’s costing me more in gas and time to come and try and donate my clothes, I understand if my things aren’t what’s trending right now, but I think at the bare minimum, you will look at all my items, and not what is just placed on the top.
The idea of the business is really good and it’s based on community, but when you have your community spending time to drive to your place and find clothing to donate to you, you would at least expect to have them look at your things.
