Afghan Flame - (Near Mississauga, ON)

3 /5 Faizan Ahmad: Went there for a dinner with my wife. We walked in without a reservation and were promptly seated. For dinner we got the mixed grill as well as lamb shank on Kabuli rice. We added some Doogh for a flavourful drink. To end it all we got a rose flavoured dessert. We loved the food, but the service can definitely be improved. During our entire dinner we felt our table was ignored and we had to put a lot of effort to grab the house staff attention. That is why we dropped it by 2 stars, or else the food deserves all 5 stars.

4 /5 Aabid Anas: Went for Sunday lunch with a group of three. There were plenty of seats available. Two of us ordered the Kandahari Chargha, while the other got the Tandoori Waziri. The food came out quickly, and the waiter was friendly. The tandoori chicken and chicken kofta skewers were really good, but the Kandahari Chargha didn’t quite meet our expectations — although it came with plenty of chicken (a half chicken), the fried chicken was hard and the inside was quite dry. I think this might not be the restaurant’s specialty, because the Tandoori Waziri was excellent. I’d recommend trying other dishes instead of the Kandahari Chargha.

5 /5 Lubna Samara: I give this place 5 stars for food, quality and meal portions. Food was really tasty and portion sizes are more than enough for one person. Service was a little slow, although the restaurant was not busy. The servers are polite and welcoming. I will definitely come back to try more options.

5 /5 Azqa K: Decided to try it out because the reviews were amazing, and honestly it did not disappoint. We got a variety of things (the mantu, the fried fish, and three mains) and each dish was as amazing as the other. Packed with flavours, and made really well!! The interior is also really nice, and the service is amazing! Our server was Abdullah, he was very friendly and attentive. Even though it was extremely busy, he was so fast with his service and easy to flag down. I would definitely be coming here again!

5 /5 Lubna Rasheed: Delicious food! We ordered several items on the menu and everything was great. The Chaplee Kabob, Beef & Chicken Kofta Kabobs were extremely well done, soft & flavourful. The Half Grilled Chicken was also incredibly juicy and tender and paired well with a generous portion of fries. The Afghan Sandwich also had a delicious chicken filling. Good service, food was quick to arrive but made fresh.
