2 /5 Namrita Singh: We visited this restaurant on Valentine’s Day hoping for a nice and memorable date night, but unfortunately the experience was quite disappointing. While the restaurant tried to create a festive atmosphere with live music and belly dancing, the food and service did not meet expectations at all.
To start, we ordered two soups — the veg manchow and chicken manchow. Both soups were very mild, overly thick, and lacked proper flavor. They didn’t have the balance or spice you would normally expect from these dishes. After that, we ordered the veggie platter, which was also underwhelming. Most of the items were poorly seasoned and not very enjoyable. The only item on the platter that stood out in a positive way was the Afghani chaap, which was actually quite good.
We also ordered masala papad, but it never arrived even after forty minutes which was frustrating. By that point we were already disappointed and had started losing interest in continuing the meal.
The food overall was very late and unfortunately not worth the wait. In the end, we mostly ate the appetizers and decided to leave instead of staying for the main course. The service was below average, and although the entertainment was a nice touch, no amount of extra performances can make up for poor food quality.
It used be one of our regularly visited places because of the ambiance, but sadly this restaurant is loosing its charm.
