Aloette Restaurant - Toronto

Rating: 4.5 /5
Michael Griffin We came for an early dinner before a concert. Our table was ready and we were quickly seated and reading the menu. Cocktails arrived soon thereafter. As part of the Alo group of restaurants we had high expectations and frankly there was nothing they could have done to make the experience better. The food was great. The service was impeccable. And there were no surprises.

Tuts Egyptian Street Food - Toronto

Rating: 4.4 /5
K. Johnson Great comfort street food at a solid price. The two-sandwich combo came with juicy, well-grilled chicken, soft savoury buns, and plenty of sauce. The side of fries were well seasoned. Definitely recommend!

Earls Kitchen + Bar - Toronto

Rating: 4.8 /5
Ali Akbar We celebrated a birthday at Earls Kitchen + Bar, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Our server was absolutely perfect—very professional, attentive, and kind. She even surprised us with complimentary drinks, which made the celebration extra special and memorable. A special shoutout to the bartender Anthony—he was the best! Very professional and talented. We absolutely loved our drinks, especially the Earls Margarita and the Cosmopolitan—they were perfectly made and delicious. Thank you to the entire Earls team for making our birthday celebration such a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Aera - Toronto

adonis palomo We went for dinner on February 14th and tried their special Valentine’s menu, and overall it was a really nice experience. Even though it was a set menu, there were still a few options to choose from, which we liked. Everything we ordered tasted great, the portions were good, and the quality of the food was definitely there. The service was very friendly and made us feel welcome the whole time, and the cocktails were also really good. The only small thing we noticed was that the music was a bit loud, and for a special occasion like Valentine’s Day it might have been nicer with something softer or more romantic. Other than that, everything went smoothly and we had a great time. We’d definitely like to come back and try more dishes.

Mother Tongue - Toronto

Ivy_E Came here with some friends last month and had such a great time! The space is very open with lots of room, a super unique design, and a chill yet pretty vibe. Unfortunately, I forgot the exact names of the dishes we ordered, but we started with duck fillings dumplings, then had ribs, fried shrimp, and three bowls of plain jasmine rice. The dishes looked a bit pricey at first, but since there were three of us and we split everything, the price was actually very reasonable and we were all decent full afterward. The food was delicious overall. The shrimp and ribs paired especially well with the rice. On their own, they were slightly salty, but eaten together, the balance was perfect!I’d definitely come back to try more dishes. Their desserts also looked amazing. This place is perfect for dates, business meetings, or just hanging out. It has a cool mix of a stylish bar and a fancy restaurant vibe.

Hey Lucy - Toronto

Rating: 4.3 /5
Melinda Forhan-Bowes We had a really lovely family dinner at Hey Lucy. It’s a casual spot which is nice as we were seeing a movie after at the Scotia Bank Theatre (walkable distance from restaurant). My husband & I ordered from the Winterlicious menu which offered some nice app, main & dessert options & on the more affordable side than other restaurants offering this annual special seasonal prix fixe menu. Our kids ordered from the main menu. We were more than satisfied with everything we ordered. The fried calamari was quite good, but portion on the smaller side. Other than that, portions were a nice size for the price. The restaurant is on the smaller side which is nice & intimate, so I’d recommend making resos as it was packed when we were there. Service was great, too. The food was brought out quickly & our server was friendly & attentive. All in all a really great restaurant!
