nanc.y.b Went there with my son for a late lunch mid afternoon on Thursday; it was still busy. The crowd was varied from younger people to elderly groups. It’s not a huge place but thankfully there were still a couple of tables available. The waitress was quick to bring our drinks and to take our order. We started with their onion rings as an appetizer - the serving was quite big. The rings were nice and crunchy. The dip which came with it was tasty. I had read many reviews that their wings and burgers were to try so we had both — the reviews were not wrong! Both were delicious!! The hamburger patty was huge as was the serving of fries it came with. The wings are also a great size. They were cooked to perfection. I tried the Salt and Pepper dry rub; yummy! I loved that you can add another flavour on the side for $1.00, a great deal! I’ll definitely have to visit again to try some of the other things on their menu or the many other wing flavours! There is lots of parking in the plaza.

Vinit Zunjarrao Visited Ali’s Bon Gusto in downtown Guelph this weekend on a whim after Elora’s Christmas Market—and it turned out to be an excellent decision. True fine-dining quality without any pretence. Ali (the owner) is incredibly warm and welcoming, and Rob, our server, was fantastic—great at guiding first-timers, explaining portion sizes, and highlighting the day’s specials. Service and hospitality were top notch. We ordered calamari arrabbiata and bruschetta to start, followed by a mushroom & bacon signature pizza, spaghetti Genovese, and butternut squash gnocchi (highly recommended). Drinks were well paired, and desserts—house-made tiramisu and white chocolate ricotta cheesecake—were a perfect finish. Open, clean kitchen, spotless and spacious washrooms, great wine selection, and very fair pricing for the quality. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s walkable from public lots. Definitely a place I’ll return to and happily recommend.

Joelma Oliveira This restaurant is a great place to enjoy in the heart of downtown Guelph. Our food was served hot, flavors were vibrant, perfectly balanced. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh and that quality matters here. Portions are generous and feed well my hungry teenager. The ambience is welcoming and it is nicely decorated with Chinese New Year theme (Feb 2026), such a nice touch to the dining space. Staff is attentive and friendly. While I was there, I saw many take out deliveries, staff is kind and friendly to them as well.

Paige Wilson Ate here for the first time today and it was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere in here was so cozy and sweet. There’s not too many tables in here but they still make it feel very spacious! If you’re looking to come in id suggest making a reservation just incase! We stared with a mimosa and sweet potato wedges which were FRESH and super hot the whole time we had them! Mimosas were obviously delicious as well. I got the Monte Carlo sandwich for my main dish and my partner got the brisket sandwich. Both were VERY filling. The brisket was a little messy but it was worth it! Everyone working here was very nice and personable! Our waitress was also really kind but she wasn’t around for us too much (but I understand because it was full in there). And at the end they gave us a little gift for Valentine’s Day! Super sweet! Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back!

Jeremi St. Denis Wow!! A burger to die for. Stopped in late on Wednesday and met Karan the burger expert himself. He hooked me up with an amazing burger, awesome fries, and a strawberry milkshake that pushed everything over the top. Perfect late-night birthday treat. Thanks for the great experience!
