Beertown - Guelph - (Near Guelph, ON)

4 /5 Priya Sethi: We recently visited Beertown Public House in Guelph for a night out. The atmosphere was incredibly vibrant and busy, which made for a great vibe, though I’d definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand as we had to hunt for a chair. We ordered quite a variety of food and drinks. As a vegetarian, I tried their recently introduced Mushroom & Goat Cheese Flatbread. While it was nice, it wasn’t quite my favorite. However, I absolutely loved their Pad Thai with Tofu, which was delicious! My boyfriend really enjoyed the Korean BBQ Duck Wings and the Yucatan Chicken. We also shared the Mongolian Pork Belly Sliders and Wonton Nachos. For drinks, I had the Blackberry Cider Punch and Raspberry Lemonade, both of which were fantastic. My boyfriend tried the Painkiller, but honestly, he wasn’t a fan of the drinks here. While the food was great, the service was just "okay," and you have to be careful with what you order to find your perfect match. It’s a nice spot, but perhaps not our go-to for every weekend

5 /5 Sam de Zoysa: We had a very pleasant experience during our Sunday brunch. From the time they opened the door to us to come in to the time they held the door open for us to leave. Great friendly knowledgeable staff. Nice vibe all around. Amazing food. We tried around seven different dishes and they were all perfect. Will be back for sure.

5 /5 Ashley Small: My partner & I made a reservation recently and came in after watching a movie. The service was excellent, with someone opening the doors for us upon entering. We were quickly brought to our table and warmly welcomed by our waitress Sarah. We ordered brisket burgers and had the pretzel & cheese dip appetizer to start and it was quite nearly a spiritual experience for me. Holy smokes it was so good! We were both incredibly happy & the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. We shared a pretzel brownie for dessert that was warm, light, and perfectly sweet. Our server Sarah was excellent with her service and checking it and was warm and friendly. It was an outrageously great experience, and were both looking forward to returning.

3 /5 Alexia Daley: This place was just ok for me. We ordered guacamole and chips for appetizers and they serve the tortilla chips cold. Way too much lemon in the guacamole. So it was soooo sour. Very disappointing. The house salad was good and so was the fried chicken Sandwich. The hamburger bread was stale. Just overall not enjoyable. Staff is super friendly when you walk in. They greet you with enthusiasm when arriving: however. I thought that it was funny that no one says bye when you’re leaving. If you’re looking for typical- this is it.

4 /5 Tan Low: Beertown is hands down one of my favourite places to eat. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming, modern, and energetic without being overwhelming. It’s a perfect spot for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or even a special occasion. The food is consistently amazing. Everything is fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Whether you’re getting one of their burgers, bowls, or shareables, you can tell a lot of care goes into each dish. Their menu has something for everyone, including great vegetarian and gluten-friendly options. What really sets Beertown apart is the drink selection. The variety of beers and ciders is incredible, and the staff are always happy to recommend something new based on your taste. If you’re not into beer, their cocktails and non-alcoholic options are just as good. The service is always friendly, attentive, and fast. The staff genuinely make you feel welcome and go above and beyond to make sure your experience is great.
