Amy Lee-Toronto We visited Fujisan Japanese Restaurant today to celebrate a friend’s birthday and ordered two 4-person set menus. The sets were very generous with a great variety of dishes — more than enough food for everyone. The sashimi was extremely fresh, and the sushi rolls were big and satisfying. The sushi had a very authentic Japanese feel, which we really appreciated. We also upgraded to the fish soup, and it was absolutely worth it — light, fresh, and naturally sweet in flavour. Everyone left the table feeling full and happy. The service was excellent throughout the night. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, especially Michelle. Her service truly stood out and was better than what we experience at many other restaurants. She was friendly, caring, and gave great recommendations on what to order. A wonderful dining experience overall — highly recommended!

Michael Loughrin They obviously care about the food they serve. It was very good. Excellent quality ingredients and preparation. This is the type of pub restaurant that used to be a cultural landmark in most places, but is sadly being replaced or displaced. For what it is, it was tremendous. The atmosphere felt authentic and local. The service was excellent too. Server made me feel like I was at home, even though it was my first time visiting. He was an engaging guy, with an interest in being there, and a great sense of humour! Places like this have soul, and it is great to see that it cares about serving quality food. I cant wait to come back. Thank you.

Elisa Krovblit On a hunt for Christmas Eve dinner, we weren’t sure where to go. Having recently moved to Markham, we haven’t found a good take-out/delivery spot for Chinese food. Markham has a huge variety of Asian food, and we’ve found some good places, but we were looking for the more “americanized” version - and this was exactly what we wanted - with quality and flavour far above our expectations. The portions are very generous - every container was filled to the max. Their fried batter is light and crispy. Their dishes are nicely seasoned and spiced. Their sauces are not gloopy and overly sweet, they’re perfect. Definitely our new go-to from now on!!! So glad we didn’t give up and order from the big buffet chain. This was so far superior!

Afshan Ahmad T&T Bakery is one of those rare places that reminds you why small, family-run businesses matter. The atmosphere has that charming old-fashioned feel - warm, welcoming, and full of heart. The customer service is truly exceptional. They only accept cash, and I didn’t think I had any on me. Without hesitation, the gentleman at the counter kindly told me I could just pay next time. You just don’t see that kind of trust and genuine kindness anymore. Thankfully, I did find some cash in my wallet, but the gesture alone stayed with me. If you’re ever in the area, please give them a try. Businesses like this deserve all the support - great people, great service, and an experience you won’t
