Gal About Town Ended up at Sharon House last night, not really expecting much... throughout our years of living here, its changed hands and names so many times Ive lost count and we stopped going ... but I think this time we may have a winner!! (Fingers crossed). Not only did they have a KILLER band last night, but the food was pretty darn good! Not JUST pub style food (although thats basically what we ordered). The entrée options go beyond that. My daughter had the pesto penne and loved it. I just had the cauliflower bites and a drink, just to watch the band. Our friends had fries and mozza sticks. All good. Server was extremely friendly. Place was dead, but it was Kempenfest. They need to have that band back, I have no doubt the place would be bursting at the seams. Pat Riel Band all the way!

Mikaela Tried this restaurant for the first time and we were impressed. The calamari was cooked great with the light crusting. We ordered the Marsala chicken, chicken Oscar, and prime rib. We all enjoyed our meals.

Sergio Munhoz Visited in a group of 5 and had a generally great experience! The pizza crust and toppings were excellent, and the cheesecake was a total standout, absolutely amazing. Our only critique was that the food (specifically the pasta) felt like it lacked salt, which left the flavors a bit muted. With a little more seasoning, it would be a 10/10!"

Ian MacRae Hey Barrie, there is a great little gem of a restaurant in your midst! A little off the beaten path but we are glad we found it. We had some business on the SW end of Barrie, up from Alliston, so searched for a nice independent spot to eat. And behold, Grillicious! We met the co-owners Dave and Josie and heard about the ideals of the restaurant, which is essentially well prepared healthy food. Well, they hit their objective and then some. I eat pork so had the pulled pork sandwich. My wife doesn’t eat pork, so had the pulled Jack-fruit alternative . Both of us were very pleased, the BBQ sauce is pretty special. The Strawberry salad to start was very tasty, we split it, and topped off the meal with a homemade lime cheesecake and raspberry ice cream cheesecake, both well worth checking out. Grillicious is 35 minutes from home, but we will be back, it’s a drive worth taking!
