Sherleen Mei we just had a quick sit down & drinks, but the service there was absolutely amazing! our bartender colby adams-simms served us, and he was fantastic and extremely nice. he gave us a free dessert which was such a generous thing for him to do! it made our night, and it was delicious. definitely will come again for drinks & to drink out their food :)

Tobys Good Eats ❣️ - Hamilton

Rating: 4.5 /5
Jim T Came here a few weeks ago with my son for dinner before attending an event. The restaurant was pretty busy, but quiet, and clean. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating. I ordered the chicken ceasar wrap with fries and gravy, my son ordered a poutine with meat added. My chicken ceasar wrap was excellent and the fries were nice and crispy the gravy was a great tasting gravy. My sons poutine was huge and full of meat and cheese, he said he really enjoyed it and it was very filling. Id definitely go back here again if Im in the neighborhood and looking for dinner or a lunch!

Victorias Steakhouse - Hamilton

Rating: 4.7 /5
Brian johnston Went to Victorias Steakhouse for a family dinner this week to celebrate birthdays and as a regular Xmas tradition. This was our first time at this restaurant and we were thoroughly impressed. We were seated in a side room which was very nice to have a more private setting as we have had difficulty having dinner in other restaurants where the noise level is very high preventing an opportunity to have a conversation without yelling at each other. We did notice that the main dining room was also quite quiet although fairly full. Lots of noise baffling furniture etc. Taking a look at the menu can be quite daunting as prices are quite high even for a high end Steakhouse. However we did go on a week day and took advantage of the special offering of a 6oz Tenderloin dinner including a starter, accompanied by choice of potato and a dessert for $65 pp. It was more than worth it! The entire meal was amazing. Flavorful and fresh ... excellent all around. Service was good but at times inconsistent in that dishes were not cleared quickly but all in all certainly satisfactory. Generally we just expect a higher level of service in a restaurant like this. I highly recommend this establishment for a group of any size. Dont settle for the Keg when there is a place like Victorias right in downtown Hamilton!

Noir Kitchen & Lounge - Hamilton

Rating: 4.6 /5
Krystal V. Noir on Locke is a top contender for an upscale restaurant in Hamilton for any occasion - whether youre looking for a quick lunch spot with the girls, a private event venue, or an elevated dinner experience. The menu is thoughtfully curated, and my personal favourite is the bone marrow served with gluten-free bread — a rich, indulgent dish that keeps me coming back. The chef is a highly talented local restauranteur, Kenny, with a real passion for quality ingredients and flavours. The bar program at Noir is equally impressive. Bartender Michael is a knowledgeable mixologist who truly knows his craft. If youre in the area, dont miss Martini Hour from 5-7PM... the Espresso Martini and Lemon Drop are must-tries and an incredible value at $12 a pop. Whether youre a Hamilton local or just visiting Locke Street / Kirkendall / Durand area, Noir deserves a spot on your restaurant list. Highly recommend for date night, group dining, or a sophisticated cocktail hour!

Loft Lounge -

Rating: 3.9 /5
Charles Walker We went to the Loft Lounge for Christmas Eve dinner with family and had an enjoyable meal. I ordered the Steak Frites with a Greek Salad to start and a Crème Brûlée for dessert. The salad was fresh and the feta and olives went well with the dressing. The Steak Frite was cooked medium rare, exactly as I had asked for it, and was quite tender and tasty. The Crème Brûlée was delicious. Our server, Alissa, was friendly and courteous. The restaurant itself does look a bit like a place from the late 80s, early 90s abd could probably do with a refresh at some point. Overall, though, the meal was quite enjoyable.
