4 /5 Liana Singh: The brisket was tender and flavorful with a nice smoky bark—definitely the highlight of the meal. The mac and cheese was creamy and had a great cheesy pull, hitting all the comfort food notes. The baked beans had a weird taste that didn’t quite sit right, and the coleslaw didn’t add much to the plate. Overall, the brisket and mac made it worth it, but I’d skip the sides next time.

4 /5 Bee Gee: Food was ok, cornbread was a bit too cakey, I prefer a more savory cornbread, fried chicken was also a cutlet and not chicken pieces. Service was friendly and the wait was not too long.

5 /5 Ally MZ: The food was delicious! We ordered grilled chicken sandwich and upgraded the fries to small mammoth. The small size mamoth chicken was huge and so good! Then the beef platter was a very soft brisket with corn bread, beans and coleslaw. Everything was about $55 +tip and so worth it. Everything was delicious. The lady at the front desk was friendly and this place gave a southern feel. Its only take out, no tables to dine in.

1 /5 Alnoor Ladhani: Ordered dinner: half lb of brisket, crispy chicken sandwich, corn bread, beignets for $82 including taxes, tip and admin fees. This was the WORST imitation of Southern BBQ Ive ever eaten. All the food came cold, soggy and burnt! Absolute waste of money ordering from here. They need a full recipe make-over on all food items. The brisket was sliced super thin, with no flavour, only bbq sauce on it. It should be sliced thicker and have a good flavour. The Chicken Sandwich has such a thick batter on it, you could only taste the batter, the bun and condiments were just thrown and it didnt look appetizing at all! The fries looked burnt/over cooked base on the grease theyre using, the baked beans were horrible didnt taste right - has a slight acidic and stale taste to it. Some beans were hard/not cooked properly. The coleslaws had no salt/flavour and was so warm that that its had gone bad. The Beignets were ok - super dense with no flavour, only powdered sugar covered them. Corn bread was super dense, slightly sweet, and dry. They should try eating at the Mad OX and see how their food tastes as that is closest to Southern BBQ taste.
