Brasserie Daniel Lapointe - Sherbrooke

Rating: 4.3 /5
Barbara H We love coming to Brasserie Daniel Lapointe - we had requested a booth... and none was available. Why do this? We are seniors and we find the restaurant becomes loud. Thank you. We did enjoy our meal but it was difficult to talk to each other.

yone jean so far so good old pal Antonio and waiter Rémi. second pepper sauce is free i feel so happy. after 8 months: This restaurant has truly become my home away from home every time I visit Sherbrooke, which is almost every week. Their filet mignon is consistently cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and prepared exactly how I love it. The service is always warm and attentive, with a genuine care for the little details that make a big difference. Antonio, the kind and gracious man in charge, always goes above and beyond—he not only welcomes me with a smile but even allows me to keep my favorite steak knife here, making each visit feel personal and special. Its rare to find a place where you feel both appreciated and at home, and this restaurant delivers that experience every single time.

William Hugo Yang Absolutely excellent. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients — everything is fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Loved the touch of lemon in several dishes. The service is warm, friendly, and professional, and the atmosphere is top-notch. Easily one of the best dining experiences around town.

Logan Keshavarz An unsuspecting restaurant that is less steakhouse and more restaurant-with-a-steak-menu-section, but many other options as well. Not a cheap place to eat red meat, but a very tasty set of steaks that come with your choice of sides (the mushrooms were great). The flank/bavette was the most tender everyone on the table ever had, which is saying something, and the flavour was wonderful. Another highlight was also the alcoholic coffee menu. I can recommend the Cafe Brasserie, and a family member would recommend the Cafe KGB. There is also a substantial cocktail and drink menu and the Carnivore Caesar is worth checking out. Service was slow at times, but there was some kind of party on the patio and the meal was worth the wait anyway. Inside the restaurant did not have a youthful or energetic atmosphere, but the patio did. We stayed inside, and enjoyed a meal surrounded by quiet tables. Overall, a very good option if youre craving a good steak but I wouldnt go here for a date or a chic vibe. We came for a casual meal while staying from out of town and didnt regret it.

Marc G Had my first visit yesterday and the staff was really nice. Things are organized in a way so customers can find things they want. Clean & tidy and the smell of coffee at the entrance makes it comfy. If you would like a quick bite, there is a small bistro where you can eat inside (not right now due to covid-19) with delicious meals already packed.

A Mann The food was very good, great presentation. Looked just like the pictures, if not better. Aside from the pizza crust being a little thin, we really enjoyed our food. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was very friendly and attentive.
