Brasserie Seigneurie, Steakhouse & Bar - (Near Sherbrooke, QC)

5 /5 Logan Keshavarz: An unsuspecting restaurant that is less steakhouse and more restaurant-with-a-steak-menu-section, but many other options as well. Not a cheap place to eat red meat, but a very tasty set of steaks that come with your choice of sides (the mushrooms were great). The flank/bavette was the most tender everyone on the table ever had, which is saying something, and the flavour was wonderful. Another highlight was also the alcoholic coffee menu. I can recommend the Cafe Brasserie, and a family member would recommend the Cafe KGB. There is also a substantial cocktail and drink menu and the Carnivore Caesar is worth checking out. Service was slow at times, but there was some kind of party on the patio and the meal was worth the wait anyway. Inside the restaurant did not have a youthful or energetic atmosphere, but the patio did. We stayed inside, and enjoyed a meal surrounded by quiet tables. Overall, a very good option if youre craving a good steak but I wouldnt go here for a date or a chic vibe. We came for a casual meal while staying from out of town and didnt regret it.

2 /5 Jan Krolak: I was very happy to see a vegan burger so I tried it and well, what can I say? – Don’t have it! The bread was completely dried out and so were the vegetables inside the burger. No sauce whatsoever, but instead you get a bottle of Ketchup placed on the table. The fries were too soft. Service was not good: the waiter came immediately after we sat down but after we said that we needed some time, she completely forgot about us, so we waited for half an hour. Every other table got tab water immediately, while we had to specifically ask for it. The lemonade, however, was all right.

5 /5 Julia F: This restaurant is worth the detour! I had the flank steak, and it is by far the best steak I ever had! Juicy, flavourful, and tender. Melting in your mouth it was so tender! The service was excellent, and reasonably priced! A great experience in every aspect! Going back!

5 /5 Juan David Restrepo: This restaurant really deserves a top spot in Sherbrooke because of its terrasse. Brasserie Seigneurie also does a better job than most other brasseries with their food presentation and beef quality. One of those places where you can safely order a filet mignon and be sure it will be well prepared. As for the other items on the menu, the poutine with beef is surprisingly good and their ceasar salad is also pretty good. Also be warned, parking here is pretty hard, be ready to park on the road and walk a little.
