Entre-Côte Riverin - (Near Chicoutimi, QC)

3 /5 Hirsch (waz): Somewhat disappointing experience, given the price. Steaks were ordered medium rare, but arrived rare. Steaks (Bavette, Ribeye) were tough, struggled to cut the meat even with serrated steak knife. Lobster was ok. Plates were not that warm, so food was cold by end of meal. The kitchen struggled with our gluten free requirement- Chimichirri is all vegetable/herbs and oil, but kitchen stated that it contained gluten, but could not elaborate. Very strange.

3 /5 Anna de Mulder: We visited Chicoutimi for St-Valentine and reserved a table for Friday and Saturday evenings 3 weeks in advance. The table on Friday evening was awfull. On the way from kitchen. We felt ourselves forgotten. Comparing to other tables, no decoration, no bread was given to us. One of the entre was not what we ordered and both main dishes were wrong too. We refused to eat wrong dishes and had to wait other 30min for right ones. So it was around 50min between entree and main dish. What a disastrous evening! The food was tasty though and the restaurant is very cozy. Advice: if you book a table, ask what kind of table you are assigned to. Waitresses have no power to change bad table to good one even if other tables are empty (our case). Message for the owner: you know that people are waiting for their food so long. Give them at least a bread with butter or a small entree.

4 /5 Jolene Aube: I really enjoyed this place. Ive gone a few times now and I have no complaints. Tonight the service was great, very friendly and polite. Food was really enjoyable, I had the Bavette steak and butterfly shrimp, with a garnish baked potato. I left feeling satisfied with my meal. My husband had the ribs and bake potato, it was good as well. For dessert we had the crème brûler, it was delicious.

5 /5 Charline Habre: A classy place in the middle of the town. Food was great, nice employee and you can parc in the front of the hotel in a parking lot under the restaurant name.

5 /5 heather berendt: We arrived in Chicoutimi not knowing where to go for dinner. We arrived here and were quickly accommodated. The service was excellent with our charming and friendly waiter. The steak was delicious. The establishment does not have a liquor license but you can bring your own wine and beer or you can choose from a decent selection of non alcohol cocktails and beers. A well known restaurant for the local people.
