Hiatus Restaurant et Bar - (Near Montréal, QC)

2 /5 Itzelli Castaño: The experience at this restaurant was visually pleasant, but gastronomically it fell short of expectations. The octopus, although paired with a well-flavored sauce, was not cooked properly. The bread and butter, presented as a standout specialty, felt simple and unremarkable. The alcoholic drink was acceptable, but did not justify its price. The steak, which promised to be the highlight of the evening, did not meet expectations in either flavor or execution. Without a doubt, the view is the restaurant’s greatest asset, creating a lovely atmosphere. I would consider returning for the setting and perhaps a few drinks, but not for dinner. For the price, one expects a more refined and memorable culinary experience.

3 /5 Lets_get_it2020: Service was really good! Food was pretty good however.. For the octopus, sauce tonkatsu was too much and i feel like its unnecessary.. its too salty with the rest of ingredients and it kills other flavour.. especially cucumber sunomono.. The scallop dish: scallop was perfectly cooked however the sauce was splitted.. so thats why i gave 3/5 stars

5 /5 Aura Bontems: My experience was perfect. The food was amazing, the cocktails unique, the service was so personable and the views impressive. Im known for being picky but everything was absolutely on point.

3 /5 Cédric Sauzereau: Location is top. The view is really magical. The food is uneven. Some dishes were very good like the duck dumplings or the Halibut, some other were just regular like the beef filet. They served some plates cold or barely warm. Service is very very slow. Maybe they are understaffed. We had to call our waitress several times to take our order, to get bread etc … Overall worth a try, mostly for the view.
