La case aux nouilles - Longueuil
Keshiv Balaghee Being Mauritian, I can tell you that the food actually is like back home.
I brought my 5 other friends from different regions (Bangladesh, Dubai, India, Vietnam,Canada) to try the Mauritian cuisine, and they loved it!
Bear in mind that we were in Montreal for 3 days, and we ate there twice
It was also my first time to La Case aux nouilles. I vouch it. The food was genuinely good.
We had a very big order and we still didnt have to wait long for the food to come.
The Gateau Arouie(Taro fried balls) was our favorite and a must try!
Here are other items we tried:
Veg Soya Biryani(10/10), Mine frite veg (tofu+veg)(9/10), Mine Bouille Agneau(9/10), poulet croustillant (10/10), riz frite agneau (10/10), Dholl Puri (10/10).
We spent a total of around $25 per person (including drinks).
And if you are worried about the portion, keep it out the door. The medium felt like a large portion of anywhere else. Generous in quantity and the quality of produce are high end.
Ill 100% go again on my next trip to Montreal.
