La Finca Café | Café, Marché Local Lunch De Quartier Dans La Région De Montréal - Montréal

Rating: 4.6 /5
Sridevi Donepudi Only place I went to twice in my 4 days here. Frittata one day when did not want pastries. Light and fluffy, very nice with the goat cheese on it, otherwise very mild flavor. Nice sesame toast. The masala chai was a bit sharp, almost spicy rather than sweet to me, but it grew on me. Went back because yogurt and granola was appealing in all the heavy fare and I was a little sad I had missed it on my last visit. Really is as good as everyone says. The granola is loose, not clusters, wonderful flavor, and the yogurt is super light and fluffy, little sour which is offset by the granola and fruit. The lemonade was a surprise, tart and strawberry infused. I couldn’t help myself and got the breakfast danish too, didn’t make it through that. Quite good but the mustard flavor is quite intense, and I was frankly just full as it was more than I was needing but I couldn’t not try it.

Tiradito - Montréal

Rating: 4.5 /5
Lindsay Thomson Delicious food presented as works of art. Watching the chef in front of me use tweezers to perfectly place toppings and examine every chive to take out any imperfections was mesmerizing. The knife work alone was worthy of its own tv show. Everything was balanced to perfection. My machu pichu was smooth, sweet and a tiny bit tangy. My vegetarian ceviche was bright and fresh with notes of sweetness and umami. The vegetarian dumplings popped with a hint of spice and light fragrant chimichurri. Pair the delicious food with the friendliest staff (who looked liked they loved their job) and a wonderful environment of warm decor and lively music it was a perfect night out.

Restaurant h3 - Montréal

Rating: 0. /5
Jessica Johnson Loved the oysters and wagyu beef to start with. The ricotta cavatelli was fantastic. My favorite dish of my whole trip. H3 also has an extensive wine list. They also offer a white and red tasting flight (3 small each) that was fun and informative.

Chez Bong - Montréal

Honest Fork Had their jjajangmyeong, shared the Dak Kang Jung (general tao chicken) and my friend had their bibimbap. Small point: Jjajangmyeon was good but perhaps just add a tiny bit of salt it would’ve been 100%! It was missing that “wok hei” flavour. But nevertheless, food was service was still great.

Chifa - Montréal

Jan Kwak A neon lit lama welcomes you into this cozy South American fusion restaurant. The chef looked out over the flaming stove to welcome us in. The atmosphere is cozy, the Latin music is smooth and a variety of interesting people sit at the counter or in booths along the back windows. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food seems be a mixture of Peruvian, Asian and other inspiration. Nice variety of share dishes, reasonable drinks menu. Nice place for a low key dinner with friends.

Toqué! - Montréal

Rating: 4.5 /5
Claire Hoon Toqué! is one of those rare institutions that justifies its reputation, particularly during the lunch service which offers a lighter, high-energy alternative to the formal dinner experience. Having visited twice now for lunch, it’s clear the kitchen’s strength lies in its consistency and its focus on Quebecs seasonal terroir. The dining room, with its polished glass wine cellar and vibrant accents, feels upscale without being stuffy. It is the kind of place where the service is a science, yet the atmosphere remains accessible. The plates are consistently artful, often highlighting a balance between rich proteins and sharp, fresh components. Starters like the foie gras terrine with its smooth consistency and fruit purée accents, or the confit trout with nasturtium oil, are technical standouts. For the mains, the walleye with caper beurre blanc and the butcher’s cut of lamb demonstrate why the restaurant has remained a flagship for over thirty years. While it is certainly a premium experience, the lunch set menu remains one of the best values in Montreal for this level of gastronomy.
