SHAKER Cuisine & Mixologie Lévis - (Near Lévis, QC)

4 /5 SethDedun: Picked this place on our search for lunch as we bailed off the highway during the Jan 25 blizzard. From the outside it looks like your average Ontarian Chain restaurant, but inside its clear they take pride in standing out. They have both a bar and sports pub vibe going on alongside the normal relaxed restaurant. While their menu wasnt exactly my forte, I settled on the ribs and fries, the fries were peppered shoestring and I had a side of gravy which had a nice flavour. The ribs were small and came covered in green onions which caused a pain in the ass for me as I have an intolerance to them, the rib sauce wasnt anything special nor was the meat but I admittedly have high expectations of my grilled meats. The waitress/server was INCREDIBLE, she was tremendously personable and patient of the fact that neither me or my son speak a lick of French. I will give them credit for recognizing that DADS CHANGE DIAPERS TOO!!! They have a change table in the mens washroom, and while I dont know if thats common in Quebec, its definitely not in Ontario. I loved the decor of the washroom and will let the pictures do the speaking.

5 /5 Georges: They have wireless chargers built in at the bar! Which I really needed! Restaurant design is very elegant, a twist between classic and modern. Clean place. Sat on the huge bar. A wide range of cocktails, very good prices and quantity with friendly staff. Tried the salmon strawberry tartare and the beef tartare, I prefer the salmon strawberry honestly it was so good, the beef one lacked salt and pepper. They also have nice steaks as I saw waiters serving to nearby tables. I do recommend if you’re going for tourism and want something nice.

4 /5 Irene M. Cruz: Update March 2025: We returned for another good meal and this time I took photos. I found the chicken sandwich to be better the first time I had it last year but my other half had the ground beef poutine and she said it was absolutely delicious. The waiter was helpful and patient and took my food allergies into account. Plenty of other options on the menu to try next time... We liked this restaurant so much the first time we decided to go back again the next day! I had the steak tartare which to be honest wasnt what i was expecting but it was soooo good. The next day i tried to the Crispy Chicken sandwich and it was thick and juicy! I had a Dracula drink (they are a mixology restaurant) and I should have gotten the bigger one because it was absolutely delicious!!! The staff were really accomodating and friendly the first night and made our meal and enjoyable experience but not so much the next day. Different server and she didnt seem to want to be there. Overall we would not hesitate to return. Our only issue was the $4 for a can of soda and for 2 of us to eat without alcohol was still $70. Chicken sandwich and a half rack of ribs...
