Nandos PERi-PERi - (Near Abbotsford, BC)

4 /5 604 Critic: I recently ordered a takeout meal from the Abbotsford location, and for the most part, it hit the spot. If you’re a fan of flame-grilled chicken, this spot remains a solid go-to in town. The Good Stuff • The Chicken: Perfectly cooked. It was juicy, tender, and seasoned exactly how you’d expect from Nando’s. They clearly have the grilling process down to a science. • Fresh Sides: Sometimes sides feel like an afterthought with takeout, but the fries were fresh and crispy, and the other sides tasted like they were just prepared. • Speed: I was really impressed with the efficiency. The prep and pickup time was incredibly quick—great for when youre in a rush but dont want "typical" fast food. The One Catch The only real bummer was that all the extra sauces were missing from the bag. Since the Peri-Peri sauce is easily the best part of the Nando’s experience, it was definitely missed! It didnt ruin the meal, but it did make it a little less "saucy" than I had hoped for. Final Verdict: Great food and even better service speed. I’ll definitely be back, but I’ll be sure to double-check the bag for those sauce tubs before I drive away next time!

5 /5 Basil Paul: Food tasted good. Service was fairly quick. They try to keep the place looking clean. I wish they kept an eye on the washroom cleanliness as well. But other than that, honestly everything was really good.

4 /5 RmJ: Tried the famous peri-peri chicken. The food was delicious. Chicken was well-cooked and the sauces were spot on. Plenty of options available for everyone incl. vegetarian and vegan options. Prices were affordable compared to the US for a similar dish.

5 /5 Mucahit Mert Alagoz: The food is fresh, tasty, and clearly prepared with care. The overall atmosphere is very pleasant, clean, and welcoming, which makes the dining experience enjoyable. There are only a couple of small areas that could be improved. There is an unpleasant smell in the restrooms, which could be addressed, and the taste of the drinking water is quite bad — it would be much better if the water were properly filtered or replaced. Aside from these points, the staff are friendly, attentive, and very understanding. The service is genuinely good, and they make you feel comfortable. Overall, it was a positive experience, and with a few improvements, it could be excellent.
