3 /5 I D: I don’t really understand why people choose to eat here when there are so many better options nearby. For around $22, you get a small burger with a small side. For the same price, Red Robin across the road offers bottomless sides, which makes White Spot feel like poor value by comparison.
I’ve eaten here a few times, and the service has been consistently disappointing. The servers either seemed inexperienced or indifferent. This is definitely not a place for a quick meal. Expect at least a 20-minute wait for food, around 15 minutes to get the bill, and another 5–10 minutes before someone comes back to take payment.
I think nostalgia and brand familiarity are big reasons some people still dine here. There’s a sense of comfort and tradition. The atmosphere feels dated but familiar, and the pace is slow. The kid’s Pirate Pak is decent. The food itself tasted fine but I never enjoyed dining here.
