Victoria Urso We had an amazing experience at La Reina! The food was outstanding — full of flavour, perfectly spicy, and truly some of the best Mexican food in Guelph. The spicy margaritas were incredible too. One ordered drink came out slightly different, but it still tasted great. A small note: although the hostess was very kind, she seemed unsure about accommodating guests who wanted to wait for a table and very willing to lose business and turn away clients. Had we not been persistent, we might have left — as we noticed others leaving as well. We were happy to wait at the bar (even with only one chair for three people), and once we did, things went smoothly. To our surprise, a table opened up in about 10–15 minutes as oppose to the 30 to one hour wait time as advised, and everything after that was fantastic. Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere. The patron margarita tower was very tasty and cool! We’re very glad we stayed and will definitely be back!

Paige Wilson Ate here for the first time today and it was such a lovely experience. The atmosphere in here was so cozy and sweet. There’s not too many tables in here but they still make it feel very spacious! If you’re looking to come in id suggest making a reservation just incase! We stared with a mimosa and sweet potato wedges which were FRESH and super hot the whole time we had them! Mimosas were obviously delicious as well. I got the Monte Carlo sandwich for my main dish and my partner got the brisket sandwich. Both were VERY filling. The brisket was a little messy but it was worth it! Everyone working here was very nice and personable! Our waitress was also really kind but she wasn’t around for us too much (but I understand because it was full in there). And at the end they gave us a little gift for Valentine’s Day! Super sweet! Overall it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be coming back!

Jessica Douthwright I tried Mama Favourite Kitchen for the first time yesterday on my lunch break. It was delicious! Super friendly staff, affordable prices and most of all delicious food. The jerk chicken, rice & peas was well seasoned and a great portion for the price, their hot sauce was spicy and a little sweet, and their doubles were amazing! Im already looking forward to the next time I can stop in and try something else on the menu. Thanks for a delicious lunch - my friend and I havent been able to stop talking about the doubles & how excited we are to visit for more.

Richelle Paulin My server Kamile was super polite and pleasant. Provided a welcoming atmosphere and was completely understanding. 4 of us went and had a gift card we wanted to use and split the bill with whatever was left over. He was able to do it and explained the process on how it would work clear and to the point. He made user to explain and don’t leave us wondering if something was wrong. His service was Absolutely wonderful.

Emily Cormier Had the delicious avocado and goat cheese eggs Benedict! 3 eggs and so many yummy and flavourful home fries! Unlike other breakfast places Ive been to, this place also actually gives you lots of goat cheese. Really good value for money and our server was super attentive and nice. Highly recommend!
