5 /5 Hrishi Das Gupta: Tried Hakka Horizon in Kingston and it’s a great spot for Indo-Chinese Hakka food in the area. The flavours were bold, fresh, and well-balanced with just the right amount of spice. Everything was cooked well, not greasy, and served hot. Portion sizes were generous, prices were reasonable, and the menu had a good variety to choose from. Service was friendly and food came out quickly. If you’re in Kingston and craving flavourful Hakka food, Hakka Horizon is definitely worth checking out.

4 /5 Oren David Nimelman: CONSISTENTLY GREAT FOOD, CONSISTENTLY SLOW SERVICE. I come here regularly with my frends. I would absolutely recommend Hakka Horizon if you have the time to do a long lunch or dinner. The food is amazing every time, and the prices are very affordable. My friends love the Momo dumplings, and I almost always get the lunch special. The hot and sour soup is the better of the two lunch-special soup options, by far. However, if you are on a short lunch break from work and need to be in and out in under 50 minutes, do not come here. The slow service is as consistent as the high quality. Whether the restaurant is completely full, or two-thirds empty, its always the same: It takes a long time to order, a long time to get your food, and usually a long time to get the bill and pay. If you come here from an hour-long lunch break from work, you will not get your main dish in time to finish it. (Or, if you plan to come in for lunch, order your meal 15-25 minutes ahead of time!) One of the best-value dining options downtown, but also probably the slowest service downtown.

5 /5 Mary Musa: Hakka Horizon Ontario is a cozy and welcoming spot for delicious Indo-Hakka cuisine. The restaurant is small but clean and well organized, with a bright and inviting storefront. Their Hakka noodles are perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the chicken dishes — especially chili chicken and Manchurian — are fresh and well balanced. The menu also offers Thai options and momos, giving a nice variety. Great taste, good portions, and a comfortable dining experience. Definitely recommended!

5 /5 Nina Persaud: This is a must try if you like Hakka or just want to try something different. Everything was cooked fresh with large portions. You can hear the wok sizzling in the background. We had fried chicken dumplings, soup dumplings, mixed fried rice with spicy sauce, general tsao chicken, mango lassi. Service is friendly. Reasonably priced.
