Andre Tsopelas We hosted a special lunch for 26 close friends and family. Everything was perfect. The cod, salmon, branzino, pasta dishes, and chicken were all delicious. The accompanied vegetables were done perfectly. The creme brulee, tiramisu, and uniquely delicious pistachio cheese cake were all fabulous! Not a single complaint from our guests. Highly recommend this gem in our neighborhood. Hats off to Chef Luigi Maresca!

CherBii Walk-in on a Monday night after work, and we were greeted by the hostess right away (after she got off the phone with an order). She brought us to the bar and lounge area, and can sit anywhere we like :) Our server, Julia, was friendly, and brought our drinks and food in timely manner. We order the Baseball steak and 10 oz. Prime Rib. Food was delicious; the fried onion strings were surprisingly crispy, like chips, and I ate them all! (usually The Keg near my home serves soggy ones, so I dont eat them) All in all, The Keg always has constant quality of steak and A+ customer service :) Will be back again when craving hits!

Jamie Ferreira Best bar in town! Great food, atmosphere and service. Highly recommend the wings or Italian salami pizza! Sal and his team are awesome. Go to place for all sporting events or even just the casual beer. Great selection

Trattoria La Villetta - Concord

Kathryn Brenne I was meeting out of town friends on Family Day and this restaurant was close to the Vaughan subway line. What an amazing find. I had the squid ink risotto which was the best I’ve ever had. It tasted like I was in Europe! The service was impeccable, polite and unobtrusive. The tables were beautifully set. The washroom was very clean. The atmosphere is nice and bright. I will definitely be back and will highly recommend to friends.

Astoria Shish Kebob House Vaughan - Concord

Ron Tennant My girlfriend (now wife) introduced me to Astoria on the Danforth in 1982. Since then, almost every trip into the city included a visit to the restaurant. We thought we were pretty lucky when a new location opened in Newmarket, since we often passed through there. Now we live pretty far away, but every trip to YYZ brings us by the Vaughan restaurant. I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu, but the pork souvlaki has always been the go-to dish. The quality is consistently excellent, and as far as I can recall remains unchanged in the 40+ years I’ve been eating here. On our most recent visit, which happened to be Valentine’s Day, the place was pretty busy but they were still able to seat us right away. Service was fairly quick and our food came out promptly, despite the busy day. Over the decades, I have brought friends and colleagues to Astoria (usually the Danforth, but elsewhere as well) and I know that several of them are now regulars. Many thanks to Astoria and all of the staff for some wonderful memories.

Ramen Isshin Vaughan - Concord

Wendy Tang Its tucked in the corner of Tuscany Plaza Ambiance - 5/5: small place, not a lot of tables indoors so it fills up quickly. They do have a patio for seating but its closed at the moment since it is cold. There are 2 gender neutral bathrooms. Although its a good size, Im not sure they are accessible. They dont have the safety handle/bars. Service - 5/5: seated quickly and the server was super friendly. He introduced us to the menu and answer any questions. He checked in on us often. Food: We got the curry cheese Tsukemen (recommended by our amazing server)! He told us that it was a fan favourite from a few years back. It was taken off the menu and there were a lot of upset customers so they recently brought it back. Tsukemen is basically a cold ramen with piping hot sauce/"soup" that you dip your ramen and toppings into to eat. The curry cheese was a punchy flavour bomb. I tasted the spicy from the curry. It is on the salty side. The server acknowlesged that too and offered to dilute it with a broth so that I can drink it at the end. I was really full so I kindly turned down the offer. In addition to the Tsukemen, we ordered edamame and miso ramen. There were a lot of edamame for the price. We chose the traditional garlic salt. The other option was shoyu garlic salt. The miso ramen was also really good and filling. Overall 5/5 - shout out to our friendly server!
