3 /5 MOHIT KATARIA: We ordered three plates of Dosa. The restaurants ambiance was quite pleasant, and the seating decorations were well-executed, creating a nice environment. The staff, initially, exhibited polite and courteous behavior. The food was satisfactory. We requested additional sambar, which we initially presumed would be complimentary, a standard practice at most South Indian food establishments. However, the staff did not inform us otherwise beforehand. Upon finishing our meal and preparing to leave, the counter attendant stopped us and requested an additional payment of $2.50 for each sambar refill. We were surprised to be charged for what is typically a complimentary item. While the initial dining experience was positive due to the decor and service, the unexpected charge and lack of upfront communication regarding the refill fee negatively impacted our overall impression. We would recommend that the establishment clearly communicate all charges, particularly for refills, to maintain customer trust.

4 /5 Rahul Vyas: I was a little hesitant to try the Chinese soup at an Indian restaurant, but our servers recommendation was spot on – it was absolutely delicious! The dosa was also fantastic. The only minor thing Id mention is that the potato masala portion was a bit small compared to the size of the dosa. The taste and service were excellent, and I really enjoyed the overall experience.

5 /5 Lay Patel: We ordered catering from Honest Indian Restaurant in Barrie for 35 people, and everything was amazing! The food was fresh, flavourful, and a big hit with all our guests. Their service was excellent—friendly and professional. Honest is one of our favourite spots in Barrie, and they never disappoint. Their south Indian food is the best. Highly recommended!!
