Mexhico Restaurant - (Near Barrie, ON)

5 /5 Adrien Langlet: What a surprise! My colleague and I chose this place on a whim, whitout looking at any details, simply because we craved Mexican food and were hungry. It needed to be a quick search. Being vegan myself, I thought "whatever, Ill have some guac and chips"... Little did I know this place was 100% plant-based! The food was absolutely delicious, the drink looked awesome and tasted great. Service was top notch, and guest were handled with care and professionalism (even the ones that didnt look like guests, the area can have some interesting characters...). Will definitely be going back! This place looked like it was handled by a family with little extra staff: comgratulations for managing a place like this!

5 /5 K R: This was the best Mexican food I have ever had. If I want real Mexican I recommend going here. The minute you walk in you are greeted with cultural music, decorations and even plants to make it feel like you are in Mexico. The owners are very nice and make your experience great. If you are unsure of what to eat they can help you make a decision.

4 /5 Matt W: Located right in Baldwin Village downtown Toronto, this Mexican restauraunt is a short walk away from the major hospitals, UofT, OCAD and Michener. If youre ever visiting friends at a local hospital or post-secondary institution, or for whatever reason are in the area, I recommend coming here. Based on all the other reviews, I cant necessarily disagree with the points people made, but a few things need to be addressed: 1) Expensive/overpriced - yes, but this is Baldwin Village. Theres no chain restauraunts in the area nor are there necessarily cheap options. Baldwin Village aims to be a chic area for trendy and unique food spots, so in that dynamic, I think the prices are reasonable. 2) Long wait times - yes, would also agree, but this is authentic Mexican cuisine. For the guac and chips, they made the guac table side, so you know its fresh as opposed to other Mexican restauraunts which likely use pre-made mixes. The desserts and some other dishes were also finished table side, so youre paying for the experience as well.

5 /5 Connor Pinkney: I honestly was a little surprised how awesome this food was. I was a little hesitant to go in, because I knew it was a vegan Mexican restaraunt. I wish I threw that hesitancy out the window, it was fantastic! We shared a few different mains, and the flavours and presentation was great. Service was friendly and quick, and the restaraunt was nice and clean. If you are like me and unsure if youd like it, I guarantee you will!
