Jacks Sankofa Square - Toronto

Rating: 4.4 /5
Karen alves gaspar Jacks Astor on Sankofa is a great option for those in the city center who want to enjoy happy hour or spend time with family and friends in a relaxed atmosphere, with sports on TV and themed drinks for each season (currently featuring a Christmas menu). The restaurant is a good size, with tables of all sizes and bar service. Entry is usually quick, but if youre planning to go at night, especially at this time of year, its advisable to make a reservation. The menu doesnt have many options, but a recommendation is to order the poutine with lobster, as its simply incredible. For customers with disabilities and reduced mobility, the restaurant has tables that accommodate walkers and wheelchairs. They also have adapted restrooms with grab bars and spring-loaded doors. The flooring throughout the premises is level, making it possible to walk around, although the number of tables makes it a little difficult. Unfortunately, they dont have a menu in Braille, but the staff is ready to assist with orders. For families with children, the place has a childrens menu and baby changing facilities in the restrooms. If you are using public transport, simply get off at Sankofa; if you are driving, the building has paid parking. Its worth a visit.
