Moments in Motion Stopped by Ratatouille Bistro but couldn’t get a seat since I didn’t have a reservation. The place was clearly busy, which is usually a good sign. Took a moment to look around and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. I’ll definitely come back another time with a reservation to finally try their food. Update: Visited this morning and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and most of the food was nicely prepared. The only downside was the lettuce—it wasn’t very fresh, and I ended up biting into a bit of sand. Everything else was enjoyable, though, and I’d still come back to try more dishes.

Daniel Capoferri My family had a great lunch here in between Winterlude activities. It took quite a while to get a table, but once we had one the drinks and food service was quite quick! Some dishes were better than others, but overall this place has a great atmosphere and is quite popular and busy.

S K A must visit when you’re in downtown Ottawa! Located in the lovely Byward Market. Upon choosing a place to go for a nice weekend lunch, I started reading the reviews on this Pub and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to try it and we are glad we did! The top food choices we kept reading about was the Fish & Chips and the Jumbalaya! They were a complete hit and tasted amazing! Best Jumbalaya we’ve had by far!! Spice level was great, everything was cooked to perfection! You basically didn’t need a nice to cut the fish it was that fresh and well cooked! Service was great and the ambiance inside makes you feel like you’re in a pub in Ireland! Great spot to enjoy with family/friends! Thank you again! :)

Rachel Robichaud The bartender Matt was amazing!! He was so quick and had everyone’s drinks in a flash while dealing with the rest of the bats orders as well! We had a hockey gage across the street with our girls so had a few hours to kill! The food was amazing!! Deep fried pickles, the flat breads with pear were all amazing ! We will be back! Rachel

Osa Atoe As it is the holidays, Id like to reminisce on last weeks dinner. I had the honor to dine amongst family and friends in the Clarendon Taverns warm and cozy environment. The table ordered some appetizers, and afterwards a main dish of their own. I ordered the Clarendon Burger with toppings of bacon jam, dill pickle mayo, shredded iceberg lettuce, and cheddar cheese atop a warm brioche bun. It was splendid. My date ordered the Half Chicken. A roasted half chicken with Yukon gold mash and colorful seasonal vegetables, served with a roasted chicken velouté. The portion size more than generous. The conversations amongst each table were lovely; happy birthdays, catching up, and celebrating each other for all the things weve accomplished this year. The Clarendon Tavern is truly the place for every occasion. To end the night, I shared a plate of Cheesecake. A white chocolate cheesecake with a classic crust, topped with caramelized white chocolate and fresh berries. Divine. Thank you to everyone at the Clarendon Tavern, you were more than wonderful hosts, see you soon and Merry Christmas!

Nikhil Karkare Excellent Chinese food. I had been searching for a good Chinese restaurant for a long time, and this place did not disappoint. Duck is their specialty, and the portions are very generous. The service and ambience were both great. We also ordered a tofu dish, and it was hands down the best tofu I have ever had, exceptionally soft and literally melted in the mouth.
