Laurence Dallas I went here last night with a friend, and I ordered the fish & chips. It was absolutely delicious, but the jalapeño tartar sauce was the best I’ve ever tasted! Definitely the highlight of an already delicious dish. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Jaci Pribish Great spot! Our server was super on the ball and friendly! They made my family feel so welcome! I got the steak sandwich and it was 10/10 and the price was remarkable. Compared to the usual $20-$25 for it in my town, it was about half that cost. Great value. My son loved the calamari bites, and my parents and husband loved their Texas burger. Will definitely go back. I cannot get over how nice it was in there as it was such a good spot to get away from the crazy loud crowds in Ottawa. Felt like we could take a breather and really do all relax.

Lynn Angie Perou So cozy the lighting creates such a warm vibe, and the food is genuinely comforting. The cocktails are well made, and the menu pulls flavors from so many countries, so you either discover something new or it reminds you of home. Definitely cozy food at its core. The service was great, and I’ve heard they host events sometimes with that atmosphere, I bet they’re amazing.

Alex C I had duck wings and several drinks at Back to Brooklyn, and had an excellent time. The duck was superb. The staff were friendly, engaging, and fun. I tried several excellent cocktails at their recommendation. I was there for dinner, but clearly after 10 oclock is when the party starts. A whole other vibe. I did not stay to see the Latin ladies night theme that Thursday, but I was assured it can be fun and rowdy. A very classy place with an upscale vibe; while also being very welcoming. An excellent evening out in Ottawa.

Moments in Motion Stopped by Ratatouille Bistro but couldn’t get a seat since I didn’t have a reservation. The place was clearly busy, which is usually a good sign. Took a moment to look around and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. I’ll definitely come back another time with a reservation to finally try their food. Update: Visited this morning and overall had a good experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and most of the food was nicely prepared. The only downside was the lettuce—it wasn’t very fresh, and I ended up biting into a bit of sand. Everything else was enjoyable, though, and I’d still come back to try more dishes.
