Taj Bistro - (Near Barrie, ON)

Nik Krans Are here Friday night and had an amazing time!!! Our server, Dave, was amazing and super attentive all night. Definitely made our night! We had the buffalo chicken sandwich and the porter house steak. Buffalo chicken sandwich was amazing and I recommend 10/10, the steak was also good but was a bit over cooked. We tried both the cheesecake and the bread pudding. The bread pudding was absolutely amazing and I wish I had gotten it instead of the cheesecake. The cheesecake was a little bland and boring but not bad overall. Will definitely be eating here again for a nice cheap fast dinner!

Lise Corbeil I sat at the bar at Michael & Marion’s for an after work dinner. I ordered the seafood and ravioli. There was plenty of seafood and they swapped the clams out for extra mussels for me. There was a really nice portion of shrimp, mini scallops, lobster, and fish to go with, and the ravioli was freshly made in restaurant. I followed up with a decadent dessert. I ordered the flourless chocolate torte. The presentation was beautiful and a perfect balance of flavors. they served it with some whipped cream and a Brulé Graham crust on top with a blackberry and a scoop of caramel ice cream with chocolate caramel chunks in it. Divine And such a nice balance of chocolate and caramel. For those who care about calories, this was light and one would think it had none. The bartender/servers Chy & France are wonderful. I will absolutely be back. I started to eat the seafood and pasta before I could take a picture but look at the dessert below.

Autumn Pope There is no other breakfast place in Barrie like flashback. My boyfriend and I come alllll the time and I’ve brought many friends here over the years who become Flashback diner super fans. Their milkshakes are so yummy and there is usually extra that they bring in a separate container. I’m a big fan of their eggs benny and my boyfriend loves the French toast! It’s a cozy atmosphere with a wicked design and the waitresses are always so friendly.

Nicole Lehoux The place was simply amazing. Our waiter was great and the food was good. We had their Saturday special. Half rib and wings. Only thing was waiter could have brought more napkins. Its wings! Lol. Loved it, will be back!

Roger Lowe Heard they had a dedicated fryer and offered a Gluten Free bun so I ventured in. Barb and Angelo were awesome and very helpful. I had an delicious burger and Garlic Parm fries. Dedicated beef Tallow fryer makes the fries taste amazing. The burger was also top shelf. Highly recommended for a visit.

Olivia Saarinen It’s always a pleasure coming out to kelsey’s. I’ve never been to this location before, and they didn’t disappoint. The service is lovely, and the food is delicious. I definitely recommend coming here! Rebekah was our server tonight, along with a trainee, and they were both so sweet and attentive :).
