We sampled the traditional Captains Sauce, a delightful blend of garlic, cajun, and lemon pepper—definitely a must-try! Our order included shrimp, lobster, crab, clams, and mussels. The corn and potato sides were also a hit. With reasonable prices, delicious flavors, and an all-around fantastic Monday lunch experience, this place truly delivers.

5 /5 Ajay Sudhakaran: I avoided The Captain’s Boil for years after hearing the food was “too oily.” That turned out to be a mistake. My first visit was at the Queensway location, which set the bar high, and the Mississauga location delivered the same great experience. We ordered two boiling plates — egg and noodles with chicken in the Captain’s Boil base, and rice and noodles with mussels in Cajun sauce — along with chicken tenders, sweet yam fries, and drinks. Everything tasted excellent. Yes, the food is oily, but that’s expected and works well if you enjoy bold spices. They provide gloves, aprons, table covers, and waste bins, making the experience hassle-free. The Mississauga location also has a nice bar area, and customer service was excellent. Must-try at least once. Only downside: seafood prices vary based on market rates. Will be back.

It’s a hands-on, messy affair (bibs and gloves provided!), which made it even more enjoyable for our group. Portions were generous, and while it’s on the pricier side, the quality and experience make it worth every penny. If you’re a seafood lover craving something interactive and flavorful, this spot is a must-try. We’ll definitely be back!
