Evguenia Stepanian What a catch! Amazing vibe, a very lively Friday night with live music and lots of happy people clearly having a great time. Everyone was friendly and pleasant: the staff, the guests, the musicians. The service was top-notch. Our waiter was trilingual and understood exactly how I wanted my steak cooked (which is rare!). The steak with salad and the risotto were outstanding! (The best steak I’ve had in many years). The place was super crowded, which only confirms how good it is, and we were lucky to get a table without a reservation as we got there early. I’d absolutely love to come back!

Wendy Yang We had a great time at the Christmas brunch buffet, and our waitress Melissa was a darling! Our party of six was comfortably seated in the corner, and we each enjoyed the food that appealed to us. The ooey gooey chocolatey marshamallowy cookie was especially tasty!

Sara Portwood Outstanding experience. We came in with huge appetites and got the charcuterie board, escargot and bone marrow, braised beef cheek, and confit duck! All delicious. Our server, Nicholas, provided amazing service. It was incredibly crowed for a Wednesday night and he moved seamlessly, remembering every order, maintained such positive interactions with everyone, and checked in on us frequently. To accommodate walk-ins while it was so busy, the hostess and manager placed us in a gorgeous lobby to order cocktails and wait for a table to open up. That was a really good experience.

Mala Delicious spot of French and Spanish fusion- we absolutely loved this restaurant. We had a variety of options from menu including the seafood chorizo Paella, duck salad, octopus, and stew. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and helped us choose a wonderful wine to accompany our dinner. Will come again!

Gibbys - Montréal

HJ Marshall We celebrated Christmas Eve at Gibbys, and it was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt festive, cozy, and timeless—perfect for a special holiday dinner. The food was outstanding. The Beef Wellington was beautifully cooked and rich in flavor, the lobster was fresh and perfectly prepared, and the ribeye was tender and full of depth. Every dish felt like it was made with care and respect for classic steakhouse tradition. Service was attentive without being intrusive, which made the evening feel relaxed and celebratory. It was one of those meals where time slows down and you’re fully present with the people you’re dining with. An unforgettable Christmas Eve dinner. We’ll definitely be back for future celebrations.

Monarque - Montréal

Betty B Great Saturday night dinner at Monarque. Beautiful restaurant, bustling with people and great energy. We ate in the Brasserie. The food, wine, service, and overall vibe were all excellent. For starters, our table of four shared the octopus and trout tartare with such fresh bread.and butter that was so good we had two servings. The mains were delicious tuna and the lamb special served with vegetables and potatoes that melted in your mouth. Dessert was an excellent tartine, the combination of apples and ice cream was perfect and so yum. We also enjoyed a really nice bottle of red wine. Just an all-around great night.
