La Piazzetta Vieux-Port - Québec

Jas Jin I had the lobster pizza and it was delicious. I was a bit surprised at how paper thin the crust was, the edges were basically full of air making it a little of a challenge to eat. The pizza came out 5 sided like the citadel which was pretty cool. For lunch, you get an appetizer and a hot beverage along with the pizza which I thought is quite a good value. The bread that came with the soup was great too. There is an English menu available and the waitress speaks fluent English. Wifi is also available.

Chez Rioux & Pettigrew - Québec

JRD Chez Rioux & Pettigrew was absolutely the best culinary experience of our trip to Quebec City. The location is perfect. Just a few blocks from the touristy section of the city. The staff could not have been more friendly and courteous. The food was first class fantastic. We chose the 4 course Chefs Choice which we highly recommend. Nothing off the menu just the Chefs creations . Also the reason we are unable to describe the dishes. But from the first coarse to the last it was INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much for the fabulous culinary journey! We can’t wait to return!

Louise Taverne & Bar à Vin & Déjeuner - Québec

Allie Sladek Phenomenal food, we had the salmon tartar and the catch of the day, swordfish with pureed carrots, roasted mushrooms and an almond butter sauce. Both were divine. Dinner was so good we had to have some dessert and we were not disappointed with the earl grey tiramisu. Also really appreciated the extensive non alcoholic beverage options as well as plentiful alcohol options.

Bistrot Pape Georges (Le) - Québec

Jeremy Scheepers As tiny as the restaurant is, it makes up for it in the incredible atmosphere and food! The only complaint would be our food did not arrive very quickly (so I advise against this place if in a hurry). Overall fantastic for a good meal!

Chez Victor (rue St-Paul) - Québec

Marshall Azar We were looking for something unique and different. Through Google search we found this place and am glad we did! Several burger options which made it hard to decide. After eating we definitely made the right choices but I couldn’t see how you could have a bad one. The buns were so fresh and the burger melted in your mouth. Middle of the day so not so busy and we were able to get seated quickly with a friendly greeting. Highly recommend if you are near by. A few parking spaces along the street and behind some of the buildings along the main road.

louise Reservation is required— we saw lots of people who tried to walk in but the restaurant was fully booked, and our table was booked after we were done, which is why we had a limit of 2 hours. We liked everything but the sashimi, it didn’t live up to our expectations because we eat sushi a lot. But everything else tasted amazing, we were eating the marinated vegetables in between our bites (it was a good palate cleanser). The marinated quail eggs were good as well as the miso salmon! We were going to order more food but we had to order the butabara twice because it melted in our mouths and couldn’t help not to take another bite haha. We weren’t really a fan of salmon skin until we had the sake harasu, the skin was crispy and the salmon was cooked perfectly! We ordered all their desserts and the crème brûlée was really good. I’d also like to note that the waiters teamwork was really good, I think everyone worked together to make sure that there won’t be any complaints from the clients. Our cocktails were really good as well— I think the best one was Yu-Gin 2.0 and the La Mer Noire. Would definitely come back here and try their other dishes.
