2 /5 Christy Pau: We came here for dinner on a weekday. The restaurant is close to our hotel and has a really nice overall vibe. For drinks, we ordered a cocktail (“Don’t Be Too Peachy”) and a beer (Double Menton), both of which we really enjoyed.
For food, we had the steak and frites and the mushroom cavatelli. They were decent, but nothing particularly memorable.
Unfortunately, the service was where we had issues. Our server didn’t ask if we wanted drinks to start and we ended up ordering them along with our food. He didn’t check in with us during the meal. After our plates were cleared, he didn’t return for the next 45 minutes until we gestured to get his attention. About 30 minutes after we finished eating, we were waiting for him to come by but eventually had to gesture. He acknowledged us but then went to two other tables. We gestured again, and once more he acknowledged us but went to another table.
The table next to us experienced the same issue with the same server and also had to gesture. He brought them their bill first, and as he passed by, we had to let him know that we also needed ours. This was definitely not a pleasant experience.
