1 /5 Elie Koriako: Subject: Formal Complaint – Steak Served Undercooked (Well-Done Ordered)
To Management,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction regarding my recent visit to your Laval location.
I specifically ordered my steak well done, yet it was served clearly undercooked, with a very pink interior (photo attached). This is not a matter of preference — the steak was objectively not cooked to the level requested. Employee was very understanding, he agreed that it’s not well done, he offered to take it back & bring a new plate with a well done steak.
He brought back the same plate with same steak but this time they burned the two sides. So a supervisor came after he discovered that the kitchen served back same steak. He apologized offered another free plate but I refused I was upset & couldn’t eat anymore.
For a restaurant of your reputation and pricing, this level of inaccuracy is unacceptable. Cooking a steak to the requested temperature is a basic expectation, especially when the order was clearly stated twice. Serving an undercooked steak after requesting well-done shows a lack of attention to detail and quality control.
This experience was extremely disappointing and did not meet the standards I expected from your establishment. That was the 5th time we go to Lucille Laval & the last time.
