Bar à Pâtes Lulus Carrefour Laval / Lulus Pasta Bar -

Rating: 4.7 /5
Khadr El Chami Would normally never pay $20 for pasta, but this is actually delicious. Plus amazing service after purchase! I was thinking after half my bowl that more Parmesan would be great, but didn’t wanna go back to the cash (cause that would be weird). Then the staff (thanks Alissia) came and offered candy and more grated Parmesan just like that! Awesome service and food, 10/10

Manti - Laval

Rating: 4.6 /5
Angela G It is very rare that a restaurant has this kind of effect on me. For context — I’m from Toronto, I split my time between Toronto and Montreal, and I’m Lebanese/Armenian. My family has been cooking everything from scratch for generations. Because of that, I’m extremely hard to impress when it comes to Lebanese or Armenian food. I almost never prefer restaurant versions over home cooking. This place? Absolutely phenomenal. First, the environment. Clean, minimalist, not pretentious, but thoughtfully designed. It’s not “high-end” in a flashy way — it’s just done right. The service was exceptional. The two servers were attentive without being overbearing. They picked up on details. That level of care genuinely surprised me. Now the food. The fattoush was one of the best I’ve ever had outside of home. Crisp lettuce, super fresh vegetables, perfectly fried pita, and beautiful contrast with pomegranate. I was honestly shocked at how much I loved it. We ordered kibbeh nayeh (raw kibbeh), which I usually never order outside because we make it fresh at home. It wasn’t my mother’s — but it was really, really good. That says a lot. The hummus with kawarma (stewed meat on top) was phenomenal. Paired with the fattoush, it was unreal. I don’t think I’ve ever fallen in love with hummus and meat like that before. Batata harra — fried spiced potatoes with toum — amazing. My only note is I wish it had a little more heat, but the flavour was excellent. The manti (beef dumplings with garlic yogurt, dried mint, sumac, and pepper) were some of the best I’ve had — and I’ve had them at very traditional spots. Exceptional. My only wish is for the pita bread to be served warm. And dessert. Kanafeh pain perdu. Perfect portion. Crispy, sweet, balanced. The cheese was absolute perfection. 10 out of 10. Truly. I haven’t asked to speak to an owner to compliment them in over 10 years. I did here. The owner looked young — and he should be incredibly proud. With rising costs and declining quality in so many restaurants lately, this place delivered on everything: service, cleanliness, creativity, flavour, execution. This was an exceptional meal. Truly a 11/10 experience. The photos and videos honestly don’t do it justice. I’ll be back — and next time, I’m bringing more people.

Les Enfants Terribles — Laval - Laval

Rating: 4 /5
Bonnie Iacono Had a girls night out and we decided on Les Enfants Terribles as a good option to get together as we were looking for a nice atmosphere to catch up on. Firstly the happy hour was a nice surprise! Secondly our server "William" was incredible. So attentive to us, friendly, great service overall! Would go back just to be served by him. Truly he made a big difference in our experience. The food was very good. We pretty much all had tartars which were very good. Nice spice level and fresh tasting. Overall would definitely go back to this venue. The restaurant was not crowded so also allowed us to hear each other and have a great conversation and of course parking was plentiful so no stress there! Overall great experience. Thank you!

Denise PH This place was just great! Its chic, food is tasty, and the service is quick and attentive. Plus, the cocktails and mocktails are really good and with great presentation. All dishes were really tasty, and the quality of the ingredients was high. Also they all felt fresh. The atmosphere and decoration is beautiful, and it really gives a cozy/chic vibe.

Le Balthazar Centropolis - Laval

Jessica Cyr Came here on a monday night for late night birthday supper visiting from out of town, it was fairly quiet. Loved the ambiance, sat at the bar, with my friend. Bartender was friendly, funny, great service; food came out quick, although fries and poutine were cold, it was promptly changed and came out piping hot. Ordered a poutine, the beef tartare "le goret" and the brie pesto chicken sandwich - all was great! Got served a complimentary birthday shot for my friend and I! Highly recommend, and would definitely return!
