Restaurant Alpina - Gatineau
Ken Bodnar This restaurant is a gem. If you have ever wondered what vintage restaurants were like, this is it. They dont serve tiny portions faux or pretentious food. This place is authentic as they come, even though it is tucked into the Gatineau Hills away from any major city. The service is fabulous. The ambiance is homey and country-charm. The portions fill a working man and the food is quality and generous servings. The price is right. When you order a breakfast with 2 eggs, you get three. The plate is piled high. The home fry potatoes are very unique and delicious. The menu is fairly extensive with good, home-cooked entrees. And the best part is that the price is right!
