Restaurant Solymar Laval - (Near Laval, QC)

Richard Yip Heard some good thing about this new restaurant all the way to Montréal. Boy was I glad I made the trip here. The chef made us an omakaze menu and it was such a dellish. Everything was fresh from the salmon to the foie gras. The sushis were amazing and the service was very good! Jean-Louis of the people that lives nearby!!

Sarah Phoeniciana We had a great dinner at Corneli’s. We had Arancini & Bruschetta for appetizers, Veal Parmigiana & Cavatelli Burrata for our mains and a delicious tiramisu for dessert. Everything was excellent. Honorable Mention: The homemade cavatelli was incredible, and their tiramisu is to die for. Looking forward to another delicious dinner at Corneli!

Martynucc ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ La Grange Urbaine is absolutely phenomenal! As someone who used to work in the industry, I can confidently say this place is top-tier — from both a staff and customer perspective. The restaurant is super clean, including the kitchen (which most people never get to see — spotless!). The pizza is incredible, full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. The interior is warm and welcoming, and the wood-burning fireplace adds an amazing aroma that makes you feel right at home. The staff are friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in what they do.

Orfei Francesco (IZ0ABD) Really nothing to complain, all was excellent. You can really taste Italian food in this restaurant, well done and nice atmosphere. Great customer service, it deserves a second visit next time Ill pass in Montreal.

Thamara Fort Absolutely delicious Portuguese grilled chicken. Juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. It tastes just like the Montreal location. It’s a family-owned restaurant, and the owners are very kind and welcoming. You can tell they truly care about their customers. The wait can be a bit long, but it’s 100% worth it. This was my second time going back, and it just keeps getting better! ( They even gave me free pastéis de nata to thank me for my patience, which was such a thoughtful gesture ❤️).

ameral darawi I honestly don’t know how put this level of food in words better than saying it was like my mom was the one cooking for me. This was the best Arabic food I have ever had outside of my moms home cooking. My friends and I were licking our plates at the end of the meal, this is an experience where money is no object. Just sit and forget about it all. Let your emotions be taken by the level of love in the food. Every bite felt as good as the first, nothing I’ve ever eaten outside my home has come close to this. Good ordered was the Fattet Kmoun, the Rice and Lamb Shanks, the Kebbeh Labanieh and finished the day with the Laye’rin Sweets Desserts. Incredible meal writing this as a person who grew up on Palestinian food and this was the best outside of my own culture.
