3 /5 Luis Ramirez: I usually enjoy The Keg, but this location in Laval was disappointing. The kitchen consistently fails to cook the steak to the requested doneness — it seems they have real trouble understanding what “rare” or “medium rare” actually means. Even the server wasn’t sure how the steak would come out, which says a lot. The rest of the experience was fine but when you go to a steakhouse, getting the meat right should be the most basic thing. Unfortunately, they just can’t seem to get it right.

5 /5 Khusnud S.: I had such a great experience at The Keg recently. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away as soon as we arrived, which was a great start. They placed us in a cozy corner, perfect for a girls’ night. We were greeted warmly, and our server honestly made the whole evening even better. He was super friendly, funny, and took the time to walk us through the menu. He asked about our tastes, gave us spot-on recommendations, and answered every question and little request we had without ever making us feel rushed. We ended up staying for almost three hours, just chatting, laughing, and catching up. At one point, our server even mentioned how happy he was to see us enjoying ourselves—it was such a sweet touch and made everything feel even more personal. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. Great service, cozy vibes, and a night full of laughter. Would definitely go back!

5 /5 Lina Lang: I visited The Keg in Laval on January 9, 2026, with a family table of five to celebrate a very special occasion: a joint birthday for both my father and grandfather. This was my first time dining at The Keg, and it absolutely did not disappoint. We ordered the 14 oz Prime Rib and three of the 18 oz New York Striploins + black pepper chicken. The food was to die for, the spices were spot on, and everything was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. However, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the service. It has been a long time since we’ve experienced hospitality like this. We were served by Jean Michelle, who was an absolute professional. He was kind, articulate, smiling, and offered excellent menu suggestions. He was also wonderful with the kids at the table, which made the evening so much more relaxing. His attention to detail was unmatched; our water glasses were never empty, and he picked up on the fact that we were celebrating birthdays without us having to make a big deal of it. He surprised us by bringing out a cake, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you are going to the Keg in Laval, I highly suggest asking for Jean Michelle. He levels up the dining experience completely. Thank you for a wonderful night!
