5 /5 Ray Jang: Long line up to order, food came out pretty quickly and I appreciated how they would buzz the alert each time an item from my order was ready for pick up so that I could eat it while it was hot. I really liked their milk tea. Portions were large, items were hot as they were made to order and everything tasted great. This is now my favourite food stall in Henderson Mall Food Court.

As someone who lives in Surrey where its lacking in good Hong Kong cafe options, its amazing to have a new option (aside from M Cafe and Copa) just across the port mann bridge. This is now the best hong kong style breakfast in coquitlam, hands down. We went during opening weekend, and while it was extremely busy, the line moved fairly quickly and our food came out in a reasonable time. Once the initial hype dies down a little Im sure their efficiency will be even better. We got the breakfast set with satay beef vermicelli and scrambled eggs toast. The beef was tender and flavourful, very authentic tasting & similar to what it tastes like in HK. Sauce wasnt too salty and had a slight sweetness and savoryness to it. Broth was a nice mild creamy chicken broth and the vermicelli was cooked perfectly. The eggs speak for themselves, very silky. We also got the black truffle shrimp and clam pasta, portion is great and the sauce was delicious. We also shared the black truffle scrambled egg sandwich which was phenomenal. Service was friendly with banter, straight forward, and efficient - everything I love about HK culture.

4 /5 Linda: I was super excited to hear that Cha Don was coming to Coquitlam for Hong Kong–style food, so I waited until after the soft opening to finally try it. The French toast is massive, triple stacked, and the filling was delicious. Shared between 2 people. The eggs were silky and really well done. The noodles were good with flavourful beef, and I really liked the cold milk tea. I’d come back again… if there’s no massive line!
