2 /5 Jane Feral: I’ve been shopping at this grocery store for some time, mainly due to its convenient location and frequent discounts that make it more affordable than some competitors like Save-On-Foods and even Superstore. However, I’ve noticed a number of serious issues that need to be addressed.
Firstly, the cleanliness of the store—particularly the washrooms—is unacceptable. On more than one occasion, I’ve encountered extremely unsanitary conditions, including visible waste smeared on the garbage can and last week there was blood on the floor! This poses a significant health risk and reflects poorly on the store’s commitment to hygiene and customer safety.
Additionally, I’ve experienced problems with pricing and customer service. There have been multiple instances where I was overcharged and then had to take out of my day and gas to go back and get it refunded. Very disappointing.
Lastly, while the store appears to employ a large number of individuals from one specific culture, it would be refreshing to see a more balanced representation of staff that reflects the diversity of the community. Inclusive hiring practices help ensure that all customers feel equally respected and understood.
I hope management takes these concerns seriously. With some improvement in cleanliness, staff training, and a more thoughtful approach to customer service, this store has the potential to become a much better place to shop. Thanks!
