5 /5 James Mendonca: The village store is such a fascinating business to go to. I just wish I knew about it sooner because they have been in business for almost 40 years. They have a great variety of different candy, tea and even baked goods such as scones and pies to serve. They have some unique sweets like Cotton Candy Dr. Pepper, Reese’s Wafer bars, Karameller Swedish Candy and Candy Rock Sticks. They even sell a unique selection of beer; however, you can only have it when you are dining in their store. The interior countenance of the store is very old-fashioned yet appealing. There was an old but working fireplace, these historic industrial coffee makers and a lot of other old knick-knacks on display. The people who worked there were very pleasant and helpful too.
I did not take any pictures or videos of the inside of the village store, out of respect for the owners and workers there.
I would very much love to pay my patronage to the Clayburn Village Store again soon. For those of you that have not been there yet, go check it out.
