1 /5 Alice Young: I recently visited Dooboo Korean Restaurant, which was
recommended by my Korean physiotherapist. According to her, she and her Korean friends highly recommend the tofu dishes, describing them as extremely delicious, soft, and the best in town.
We decided to try it, but unfortunately, we did not appreciate the authentic Korean flavors. We were disappointed and will not return. The food did not meet our expectations.
We tried their soft tofu soup with regular spicy pork and kimchi,
but it lacked flavor and the
tofu was not soft.
The seafood pancake was
crispy but had few ingredients
and was very oily. My husband
noted that Samsooie Restaurant
is superior.
The meal came with three side dishes: oily fish cake, kimchi,
and sour and salty radish.
Neither of us enjoyed the meal
and will not return. My husband mentioned that Dai Jang Kums kimchi and soup are better.
There were only three tables
of customers during lunch.
The service was subpar,
with no smiles, greetings,
or refills on tea. The total bill
was $45 plus tips for the two of us.
