5 /5 Chloe Rachel: First time back at Hart House in many years; the interior still has that Tudor style/heritage charm. Service was friendly and efficient, and they checked in regularly to see if we were enjoying our food. We had their Dine Out Vancouver menu ($58 per person) and a couple of non-alcoholic beverages.
From their Dine Out menu, all the dishes were great. Loved the plating of the Roasted Acorn Squash (variety of textures), and the breaded Coconut Prawns came with 7 prawns. Good portion for an appetizer.
For the mains, the Confit Duck Leg was tender, and the Seared Steelhead was melt in your mouth tasty. We were fans of both of the desserts, the layered and moist Chocolate Sticky Toffee Pudding, and the Citrus Pavlova (huge in size, and the lemon curd balanced the sweetness of the sweet meringue). While not an everyday meal kind of restaurant for us, the quality and quantity of food, exceptional service, and general ambiance are well appreciated. Would recommend.
