5 /5 Igor Manea: Had my first visit at Galina Euro Food and tried their piroshki—absolutely delicious! Fresh, well-seasoned, and you can tell it’s made with care. The staff was friendly and the place feels welcoming. If you like Eastern European food, this spot is a must. I’ll be coming back for sure!

3 /5 Diana De Jurei: Don’t buy frozen herring/fish of any kind, it has been frosted and defrosted so many times that fillets are simply falling apart with touch. Worst quality we’ve ever seen, had to throw it away. You can’t sell spoiled products at such a high price. On the positive side they have decent sausages, mustard, bread. However it’s unlikely I will be back for anything else.

5 /5 Danu: Galinas Euro Food is one of the best if not the best Eastern European food stores in the lower mainland. Every experience Ive had visiting the store has been nothing but kindness and help. The ladies who work there are helpful and respectful. I went in to get the usual borsh and pelmeni and came back later on to get ingredients I forgot for oliveir salad and the lady directed me to the right kinds of ingredients I needed. She was very sweet. Its incredibly easy to find what youre looking for since everything is organized nicely and neatly. Prices may come off as a bit expensive, but when you go home and cook the food, you can tell that its worth the price with the amount of meals you can make.

I moved to Canada years ago, but still have cravings for certain foods, and this store always has them. I’ve never had any issues with quality—frozen products are always perfectly fine once defrosted. I usually buy herring, dry salted fish, caviar, cottage cheese, and kefir. I recently visited the store and had a great conversation with a lovely sales associate who is always super helpful. Reading some of the negative reviews really just reflects the mindset of certain customers and anyone who has ever worked in sales in North America would understand this …
