Lavantine Restaurant & Skybar - Vancouver

Irena M What a beautiful spot downtown Vancouver. If you want to feel small around tall skyscrapers downtown Vancouver, have amazing food and drinks this is it. I highly recommend this spot. The food is delicious, prepared quickly. Also great for romantic occasions. The Mezze Selection is 3 delicious dips with pita! Authentic, tasty food with great service. Happy hour menu is a great deal as well. This is our 3rd time at this place and we will definitely keep coming back. Thank you for a nice evening.

Hawksworth Restaurant - Vancouver

Kare Kare I went for happy hour at 5pm. You can only sit on the patio or lounge for happy hour. Restaurant seating is not available if you want to order their happy hour menu. Fridays are best with $2 oysters and half price bubbles. Definitely worth it. The dozen of oysters was so worth it. Super fresh and sweet. Fanny bay oysters were very large and meaty. Worth the $2 a piece. Tempura oysters were delicious. Oysters were fresh and the batter was so light. Very well done at $10 happy hour pricing. Beef carpaccio is well seasoned. Maybe a bit small for the price even at happy hour. Beets were delicious. The sauce paired well with the sweet beets. Truffle fries are not memorable. Fries are a bit hard after frying. Had two cocktails. The one with ginger beer was delicious. Well worth the price and so tasty. Hawksworth cocktail was okay. Still tasty but the one with ginger beer was better. Overall, I enjoy the food at Hawksworth. Would come again to try another menu.

Sangkyu An I personally recommend the regular table over the chef’s table — the atmosphere is much nicer. The service was top-notch and truly the highlight of the experience. I was excited for the vongole pasta, but it was a bit underwhelming. However, the lasagna was absolutely amazing and a must-try. The chicken was good but fairly standard. Overall, it’s a great place to order several dishes and enjoy them with drinks — perfect for sharing and pairing.

ARC RESTAURANT - Vancouver

Jessica Tite Came here on Saturday for the brunch buffet. Our waitress, Millan, was absolutely wonderful! She made menu suggestions, frequently checked in, told us funny stories and was just overall fantastic. The restaurant is very clean with a nice aesthetic. The volume level is low and tables are spaced out so it feels like a private dining experience even with others around you. Great place to dine if you enjoy lower stimulation environments. The food was amazing! All items have a carb base which gets you fuller faster, but the variety is great and the food is highly elevated for a buffet. My favorite items include buttermilk biscuits, which are warm and go great with the honey butter, the pulled short rib benedict that has the lightest crumbly corn bread Ive ever had and a delicious black garlic hollandaise, and the chili maple brussel sprouts which have the perfect sweetness balanced by the dry feta. My husband loved the chicken and waffle and the smoked salmon rosti. The Berry Smoothie was refreshing, and the ooey gooey skillet a great dessert. I wanted to try the lobster Mac N cheese but my husband has a shellfish allergy and they dont offer half portions. All in all, I would come back again if a friend or family member wanted to try out the buffet. Would reccomend this place to others. Thanks to Millan for making our experience unforgettable!

Earl Peng _ Kumofoodlist We visited DAHLIA at the AZUR Legacy Collection Hotel ahead of Dine Out Vancouver and really enjoyed the experience. The space feels cozy, elegant, and relaxed — a great setting for both lunch or dinner. We tried a mix of dishes from the Lunch and Dinner menus. The mussels with ’nduja were a standout, super flavourful and well cooked. For mains, the Dover sole and filet mignon were both done nicely — the fish was delicate and the steak was tender with a classic peppercorn sauce. The spaghetti bolognese was simple and comforting. Dessert was a highlight, especially the tiramisu, which was rich without being too heavy. We also had a couple of cocktails that were refreshing and well balanced. Overall, good food, attentive service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out during Dine Out Vancouver.

Susan Ninow We enjoyed an excellent Dine Out Vancouver dinner at Diva at the Metropolitan. The service was truly exceptional—Eka, the Assistant Manager, was so welcoming and ensured we had a wonderful evening, and Maraya was an attentive, friendly server. Every course was a hit: the Beet & Burrata Salad was fresh and light, the Braised Short Rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender on a bed of risotto, and the Pistachio Tiramisu was absolutely heavenly. It was also excellent value for a downtown hotel dinner. I highly recommend Diva at the Met. We look forward to another visit!
