George K I love Chinese food and was happy to stop by Eem Khao Restaurant for lunch. I tried the nam prik pao chicken and the pad mee hokkien—both were absolutely delicious. A very nice place with great flavors; definitely don’t miss it.

Y B I recently tried some amazing Mexican food, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were bold, authentic, and perfectly balanced — every bite was full of taste and really satisfying. The dishes were well-prepared and fresh, capturing the true essence of Mexican cuisine. To top it all off, the dessert was just as impressive. It was the perfect sweet ending to a flavorful meal — rich, satisfying, and beautifully presented. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Highly recommend if youre looking for tasty, authentic Mexican food with a sweet treat to finish!

Jennifer Webb Back for our second visit and had Ryan again for our server, he is absolutely amazing and adds to the experience. Ordered off the menu this time and enjoyed our evening just as much. We will definitely be back for Mothers day brunch. We did chef’s table tasting menu with wine and mixology pairing and it was absolutely perfect! Our servers were attentive and so informative. Food was amazing and the pairings were perfect! Will definitely be back to order and try food off the menu.

Arghya Basu We went to The French for Saturday brunch, and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. We had a reservation, though it wasn’t overly busy — which made the atmosphere feel relaxed and unhurried. The ambiance is warm, elegant, and inviting. We were seated by a beautiful window, which made the whole brunch feel even more special. The beer selection was excellent. I had the A Hamilton IPA, which was crisp, refreshing, and paired perfectly with brunch. For food, we both ordered Benedicts — I went with the beef Benedict, and my wife chose the salmon. Both were outstanding. The poached eggs were perfectly done, the hollandaise was rich without being overwhelming, and the flavors were beautifully balanced. My herbed fingerlings were absolutely delicious — crisp on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned just right. My wife’s salad deserves special mention — it was just too good. Fresh, vibrant, and thoughtfully put together. And then came dessert — the crème brûlée. Exquisite. Perfectly caramelized top with a silky smooth custard underneath. A flawless ending to a wonderful brunch. Highly recommend The French for a relaxed yet refined brunch experience in Hamilton. We’ll definitely be back.

Jim T Went here for an early dinner about a month ago, really nice place. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere in the restaurant was quiet, inviting, and cozy. I ordered a ceasar salad which was delicious and made perfect. I also ordered a chicken wrap & fries and gravy. The Fries were nice and crispy, the gravy delicious, the wrap was a nice size only thing I didnt think it would of came with dark meat usually every place I go has white meat in the wrap like chicken breast, Im not a fan of dark meat so it was kinda a disappointment but it was still tasty and made good. The waitress was very kind, friendly, attentive. I would go back here again and try out a few other items on the menu.

xing My partner and I had dinner here a few weeks ago for his birthday and we couldn’t have chosen a better restaurant. The ambience, the staff, the drinks and the FOOD were so incredible. We originally thought the portions were small but were surprised at how filling they were. The tartar was AMAZING and our favourite dish of the night. Our server was so also welcoming and attentive throughout the whole night. Will absolutely be back to try more!
