Pho Anh Vu Vaughan - (Near Vaughan, ON)

5 /5 The King: Came here for a late meal and was really surprised that even tho it was busy we were able to get a table extremely fast. Ordered the grilled chicken and pork chop on broken rice and was extremely impressed with the portions and taste. Also got their number 17 pho which tasted great with good portions of meat. The shrimp rolls came with a peanut sauce that I wasn’t the biggest fan of but still did not take away from the great experience.

4 /5 Cassandra Mae: I’ve read great reviews on Pho Anh Vu so I decided to give it a try. The server was funny and entertaining which made our visit fun. The place is quite small and they get busy so expect some crowding. The food was delicious and had exceptional flavour and quality. My partner and I had the Bun Bo Hue (5/5) and the Grilled Pork and Chicken on Broken Rice (5/5). Bun Bo Hue was filled with meat and blood pudding. It was not as spicy as I had hoped it would be but the flavour profile was irresistibly good. Grilled Pork and Chicken on Broken Rice had ample portions of meat. They were tender and juicy. As I mentioned, the place gets busy and packed. We were a group of 8 and I tried to book a reservation a couple of days prior to our visit. To our disappointment, they did not accept reservations at all. The wait time was quite long since we were such a big group. This was quite hectic and stressful for the servers. Hopefully this can be considered in the future for big groups (8 people and above) to make the service smoother.

5 /5 John Ly: Pho was good and especially the spicy beef soup ( bún bò Huế). I did find the chicken wings way too saucy. Service was good, restaurant clean and plenty of parking. And I appreciate the hot tea on a cold day.

3 /5 Michelle Mompoint: Okay, first of all, the food was really good. We both had the traditional beef pho and it did not disappoint. The broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfect, and there was actually a really good amount of meat in the bowl. Portions were solid and the price made sense for what you get. The space itself is super cute. Very vibrant, beautifully decorated, and the mural inside is such a nice touch. It’s a smaller spot, but even with it being small, it still feels warm and inviting. Definitely a cute little place to sit down and enjoy a bowl of pho. Now the only reason this isn’t a full five stars is because of one small but important incident. We ordered veggie spring rolls and were served pork. We do not eat pork. It was replaced, which is fine, mistakes happen. But when we went to pay, we were still charged for it. After it was removed, the server explained that we shouldn’t have bitten into it and that next time we would be charged. That part was unnecessary. We obviously would not have known it was pork without biting into it. It just could have been handled better. Other than that, we had a good time. The food was amazing. I would come back for the pho. Just hoping the service matches the quality of the food next time.

We were a table for 8 and it is quite small in there so we still had to wait a bit, it gets pretty hectic. Food was good and portions are huge (one bowl is probably good for two people). Havent tried all their dishes yet (I always go for the BBH) so would try different ones next time.
