The moment you walk in, you feel the warmth — modern, stylish decor, cozy atmosphere, everything is spotless and welcoming. The staff deserves a special mention. Every single person working there is friendly, smiling, helpful, and actually knows what they’re doing. Service feels personal, not robotic — and that’s rare. The food is truly one of the best in Kingston. They care about quality. Ingredients are sourced from best suppliers, and you can taste the difference. I have several food intolerances, and they always go out of their way to accommodate my needs. And now… the coffee. Their coffee is exceptional. They invested in one of the most advanced (and expensive) coffee machines on the market, and they use high-quality beans — the result is a smooth and flavorful coffee that’s honestly on a European level. If you’re a coffee lover, this place is a must. No reservations here, and on weekends it gets busy — but the team is organized, takes your name for the waitlist, and you’re usually seated within 20 minutes. I genuinely recommend Northside Café to everyone. It’s a gem — one of the best spots in Kingston for food, coffee, and atmosphere.

Scott S 11/10 experience last night for dinner and some creamy ones. Havent been in 5 plus years ,but this place is the best "pub" experience in town. Had the fish and chips and my wife had the nachos which were both a plus. Best guiness ive had yet! And no, no one asked me to write this review! Mike Morash mid-May lunch with friends from away. Slow day, gray day outside. Well staffed for the time of day. We received great attention. A little dark inside. Menu had great range of appies, mains and desserts. Our orders - Old Fashioned Burger, Cajun Chicken Quesadilla, and Chicken Parma were tasty and flavourful. A little too much volume wise, but we did have the option for a doggie bag. Did not opt for dessert. Beverage menu covered all the bases for both alcohol and non-alcohol drinks. For us, a glass of white wine, lite and hazy IPA beers, and of course frequent refills for water. Overall an outstanding dining experience. Highly recommended.

Dani The Aladdin sweets and desserts place is inside as well! This is a really sweet little restaurant. Nice decorations. Staff is wonderful. My falafel wrap was delicious. And I got a complimentary tea which was so very lovely. So many yummy food options, including tons of dessert options!

Nicole Conway Great beers and delicious tacos. Had the combo and it was hard to pick just three. The poblano, hot honey chicken and Korean were favourites. Lovely atmosphere and friendly service. Not from Kingston but will definitely make a point to come back next time we’re in the area
