It’s not your usual place — when you walk in, there’s a section that looks like a fish market or a big fridge filled with all kinds of fresh seafood. You can pick exactly what you want: fish, shrimp, calamari, and more. Everything is sold by weight, and then you tell them how you’d like it cooked — grilled, fried, baked, or however you prefer. The food is incredibly tasty and fresh, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. You can really tell the seafood is high quality. It’s a fun experience too because you get to choose everything yourself like in a market, but then enjoy it in a restaurant setting. Overall, Estakoza is a great spot for anyone who loves seafood and wants something a little different. Highly recommended!

5 /5 Chett & Joyce: A great seafood place in Laval where we were able to choose our seafood and the sauces to go with it, all at a reasonable price. Prices were calculated by weight. The restaurant was modern, clean, spacious, and relaxing. We ordered the fried calamari (highly recommended), mussels with garlic sauce, sautéed shrimp in tomato sauce, BBQ octopus, and green salad. We went on a weekday evening, and it was not crowded. The service was friendly. The only point for critique and improvement was that the seasoning on the seafood was very flavourful—perhaps a bit too flavourful, especially if you did not order something like rice or fries to balance out the flavour profile. The first few bites really packed a punch, but over time, the intensity became overwhelming. Other than that, we really enjoyed the food and ambience, and could definitely see ourselves returning in the future.
