5 /5 ameral darawi: I honestly don’t know how put this level of food in words better than saying it was like my mom was the one cooking for me. This was the best Arabic food I have ever had outside of my moms home cooking. My friends and I were licking our plates at the end of the meal, this is an experience where money is no object. Just sit and forget about it all. Let your emotions be taken by the level of love in the food. Every bite felt as good as the first, nothing I’ve ever eaten outside my home has come close to this. Good ordered was the Fattet Kmoun, the Rice and Lamb Shanks, the Kebbeh Labanieh and finished the day with the Laye’rin Sweets Desserts. Incredible meal writing this as a person who grew up on Palestinian food and this was the best outside of my own culture.

3 /5 A F: This was our first time visiting Kamoun Restaurant in Laval, and we came based on my cousin’s recommendation. We went on a Sunday and arrived just after opening, around 10:15 AM. When we walked in, the music was very loud, especially for that early in the morning. We asked the waitress to lower the volume, which she did. We ordered a variety of breakfast items, including foul mdamas, msabaha (mousabaha), fatteh, eggs with sujouk, and my cousin decided to try the fawarej and lsanat. As soon as you sit down, they bring Lebanese coffee without asking. Three of us don’t drink Lebanese coffee, so I really think they should ask before serving it. As for the food, it was just okay. The eggs with sujouk were disappointing and lacked flavor. The msabaha was good. The foul was not to my taste — they use large fava beans and don’t mash them, which looked and felt a bit odd to me. The restaurant itself is nice, clean, and cozy, and the food presentation was fine. However, even though the place wasn’t busy, the waitress never came back to check on us, ask how the food was, or see if we needed anything. Prices felt a bit high for what was offered. When my cousin went to pay, he noticed the bill was higher than expected. After checking, he realized we were charged multiple times for the msabaha, fatteh, and foul. Thankfully, they corrected it and removed the extra charges, but it was still an unpleasant moment. Overall, I’d give this place 3 stars. Nothing terrible, but nothing special either. I’m honestly not sure if I would return.

From the moment you walk in, the place feels cozy, spotless, and welcoming. The staff truly go above and beyond — their service is exceptional, friendly, and attentive, making every visit feel special. The food is absolutely phenomenal. Their vine leaves are tender and perfectly seasoned, the falafel is crispy on the outside and soft inside, and the fawaregh (stuffed intestines) are a true delicacy — rich in flavor and authentically prepared. The chicken and rice dish is also amazing: juicy, aromatic, and full of taste. Everything is served fresh, with generous portions and beautiful presentation. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing with friends or family, and their food is top quality — tasty, flavorful, and always well prepared. You can tell they care about every detail, from food to ambiance. They’re open daily (except Tuesdays) from 10 a.m. until almost midnight, which makes it a great spot for both lunch and late-night gatherings. Overall, Kamoun offers the perfect mix of authenticity, cleanliness, and comfort. If you’re looking for a place that serves delicious Middle Eastern cuisine with excellent service and a warm vibe — Kamoun Restaurant is a must-try in Laval. Parking is free!

5 /5 Antoine Hanouch: Amazing food! Prices are a bit high but quality is so worth it. Warek enab (stuffed grape leaves) are as good as a home cooked meal. The fatteh is incredible. Will definitely come back many times!
