1 /5 Robert x: I’ve been coming to this place since I was a teenager and always had good experiences, especially with a male server who was kind and provided excellent customer service.
Unfortunately, my visit yesterday was completely different.
The lady with the glasses was extremely unprofessional. When I spoke to her, she seemed annoyed and didn’t respond, so I repeated myself several times thinking she hadn’t heard me. She then replied very rudely, saying: “Je t’ai entendu." I’m not your friend, neither your son. Have some manners. This was completely uncalled for.
Throughout our visit, no one came to check on us. We had to call her several times just to get service. No water was offered, no check-ins, nothing.
At one point she even commented, “Ça paraît que vous avez jamais été serveur,” which was disrespectful and unnecessary.
Regarding the tip: tipping is based on service and is not mandatory.
Despite the poor service, we still left 10%. She then complained, assuming it should have been calculated after tax, which is incorrect.
When we tried to explain calmly, on why her attitude wasnt the best " she shut down the conversation by saying, “On va pas continuer,” even though she was the one who initiated the confrontation.
This is not how customers should be treated.
Management seriously needs to address this, because this kind of behaviour drives loyal customers away. As a business owner of a restaurant myself, this staff would surely get fired on the spot.
