4 /5 Your’s Truly: We came here for a birthday party , we heard only good things about this place so we decided to give it a try , the entrees were excellent a little over priced for the portions that you get but still very good, I ordered the surf n turf never again will I be ordering this , they over cooked my steak and the portion was very small for 70$ if you come here don’t get anything that’s meat get their pasta, we ordered several different entrees from calamari to octopus and buratta. The service wasn’t anything great I had to ask the waitress several times for a straw, she never brought it then finally I had to ask one of the bus boys who took care of it right away , honestly we received better service from the bus boy than from the waitress herself. Never came by once to ask us how the food was or if we needed anything. Besides that the food was great I was actually quite surprised! The ambience was very nice looked new inside, if you don’t like your job as a waitress don’t be one.

3 /5 The foodie’s meal: I went to Portovino and the service was really good — the staff was attentive and friendly. The ambiance was nice and added to the experience. However, the food was pretty average, nothing special or memorable. It wasn’t bad, just very mid. Overall, good service and vibe, but the food didn’t impress.

4 /5 Sam Nassr: Excellent experience at Portovino Laval. The ossobuco was incredibly rich and outstanding, the fish dish was perfectly prepared, and all other plates were equally impressive. Elegant presentation and fantastic service. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Donna Gibbons: We celebrated a birthday brunch with about 20 people. Great stations for crepes, pasta and roast meats were all available. Fresh fruits for dessert and a chocolate fountain. Our server was attentive and friendly.

2 /5 Allanah: While the food has lots of potential, the execution lacks severely. We were seated at 6pm, ordered and by 7:05, nothing had arrived, not even a bread basket. We had to go to the kitchen to ask some bread for the kids. Food took approximately 90 min to arrived and it came with disappointment. 3 took the penne vodka but it was too spicy from what they remembered and chose to take some home to add cream The seafood risotto was generous in seafood Variety but also too seasoned to take away from the seafood and garlic. 46$ plate+ tax + tips Kids meals come with a beverage and ice cream but this was never offered to the kids. One the staff members also drop a glass of water on one of the kids, didn’t apologize although kid’s pants were soaked.
